Definitely not. Spoken to many of the asian, Indian and black communities in Leeds and West Yorks and all express racial or ethnic prejudice being inflicted upon them, sometimes by white people, other times by people of non-white background. |

Nope, I've met racists of all colours. There are some who argue that you have to be in a position of power to be racist, but I don't buy that arguement. So some argue that black Americans (African Americans) in the US can't be racist because they are not in control of the media, the economy, the police, politics etc. however most of the countries in Africa would have black people in charge of all those things and could be racist. So it cant be that a black person in Miami can't be racist, but that a black man in Malawi can be racist, because that is a distinction based upon citizenship, rather than race. So all races can be racist, and there are members of all races that are racists. |

To some extent or another we are all racist, prejudice and discriminat against each other all the time..the sad thing is that we don't realise that we are doing it.

Population of UK = 65,000,000
Population of Ireland = 7,000,000
Population of Russia = 146,000,000
Now I know for a fact I've never seen anywhere near a million people from these countries doing a march or protest against the wars. Not even close. |

There's about the same ratio of black unarmed black people killed in the US as white unarmed people, when you take in the crime ratio as well black people actually fare better than white people being killed by the police, the number of black unarmed people being killed by the police has gone down steadily for ten years where as for white people it's about stayed the same.

I happen to agree with you about the American penal system, I just disagree that it's skewered towards black people, I don't think there interested in the colour of the inmates, just that they get more inmates.

agree on points yet we can't compare America and Britain as so so different but I'm always amazed at reactions to whatever colour a person is being stopped or arrested as the figures show that if 70% more black in that area then more of that colour stopped as vibe versa if White was higher percentage!!-I may have a different view if my loved ones we're working in America as officers when guns are so easily obtained used and flashed about!!-I've been in the fold of a relationship with a officer and as said to her that they're just a legalised gang in this country-the things I witnessed shocked me--drink driving n escort home as a little taster lol I personally think we over do the colour card-no matter what colour you are your either a twat or your not surely |

Racism comes in many shades. There's the vocal ones who have no problem speaking their mind to the face of another race.There is racism spoken only amongst themselves concerning another's race.Then there is institutional racism.Which is easier to prove and quantify statically. |
