How would Jesus vote?

I think that we are lucky in the UK that religion doesn't play a huge roll in our politics, especially when compared to the US.
I have never really got my head around why in the US Christianity seems to equal the right (Republican party), I have always though that Jesus would have been more left wing rather than right.
So would Jesus have voted for Trump or Clinton? Remain or Leave? May or Corbyn? |

Let's have a heated debate!
I would think Jesus would be more left-wing. Maybe he would vote Green?
Theologically of course he would not have taken part in any form of voting. |

You might not believe that he was the son of God, but he was a real man. |

I believe he was a real human being who brought a message of love, respect, kindness and goodness to the world.
Some on here could do with learning from that example. |

Given the 4 examples of Jesus' teachings I cited, your answer speaks volumes. It really does. |

Err no there's quite a bit of evidenced to conclude a chap called Jesus of Nazareth existed.... Just not much evidence that he performed any miracles or anything else |

There is no hard evidence to say Jesus existed that I can find, All I can find is testimony of him from people who lived around 100 years after he supposedly died.
There are no eyewitenss accounts he lived !!! |

The closest seem to be St Paul's letters, probably written somewhere between AD 50-100 and before the main New Testament gospels. The letters link to Jesus via a couple of direct steps which might suggest a short enough link in the oral tradition that they are based in fact - then again 50 years is quite a long time. |

There's no hard evidence that Plato or Aristotle existed everything wrote about them was wrote a thousand years after their deaths.
The evidence suggests a chap called Jesus of Nazareth existed around 30ad.
Even Richard Dawkins admits that!.
.
.
However that's all the evidence suggests, no walking on water, no feeding masses.
However I like what Plato is reported to have said and wrote and I find nothing bad in what this chap Jesus offered either!.

Your first mistake is assuming organised religion is about the humane values we ascribe to "Jesus". |

Are you a Christian?.....if so do you regularly attend church?
Christians are to blame for the crumbling of christianity, in the main because they are not believers...... |
