Well they had an election, the one that got the most votes.
Apparently everyone will be fleaing america, half the forums know how to run america better.
If people voted for him they must be stupid, racist or mysongists.
Oh and hysteria is in full force.
I got all that from the other 50 threads |

"If you travel through Germany you will understand they are not spenders like us British not by far
No idea what that means.
And I lived in Cologne for 9 months."
And I am German; that means we don't give hand-outs to every economic migrant. We give them 10 Euros a day and make them sleep in disused shopping malls. No wonder they soon get sick and tired of that and want to come to England; the land of milk and honey and housing and benefits
Thank Gawd for Good Ole' England |

if you were convinced the tories wouldn't win the election, the U.K. Would vote remain and trump had no chance of winning then perhaps you need to get off your high horse, step outside your echo chamber and give some thought to the notion that perhaps you don't know exactly what the world needs rather than labelling everyone with different views to yours an idiot |

I just think that people in Britain and America were duped and believe what is being said without any facts backing the arguments.
Brexit was wrong call based on what was being said if the facts were laid out properly and an informed decision was made them no one would think it was stupid call.
Same as all bull coming out of trump when he wont deliver any of his promises.
Let's see this wall appear that Mexico are going to pay for |

Over half the populations of the UK and the US aren't capable of making informed decisions based on what they feel represents them the best? |

Who are you to say what's right and wrong for people?
The people who voted Trump are happy, the people who voted Tory are happy and the people who voted leave still want to leave and in each respective case, they have been the majority. This lefty habit of attempting to "enlighten" everyone else in to thinking and voting as they do is incredibly annoying, smug and patronising (let alone a tad fascist)
The people have spoken and they don't agree with you. Get over it. |

If this is a response to me?, then I think you're being hugely disrespectful to a great amount of people. Please refer to my first comment in this thread
This is what has made social media so hilarious for me all day
Anyone who voted for tories, leave or Trump is;
- an idiot
- a racist
- has been brainwashed by the Sun / Daily Mail
- thought their vote wouldn't matter
- immediately regret their decision and given the chance would instantly reverse it
I could go on
Or perhaps you should stop blaming everyone else for believing something different to what you do and start taking responsibility for your own life and not blaming the 'government / higher powers' for why things haven't worked out quite as you'd hoped? |

Picture this you're in a swinging club, a man comes up to you and grabs you by your pussy! You recoil in shock! He says hey I'm famous and you can't do anything about it as he grabs you again!
Now imagine that someone admitted to this and goes on to become POTUS!
And whilst we are having a pop BUSH destroyed millions of emails and Trump has done the same when being pursued through the courts over racist litigation, for non payement of debt and the list goes on.
Just saying |

Over half the people of the UK didn't think it was OK! The only way you can say this is if EVERY person eligible to vote is compelled to vote.
So, please and going forward use the phrase that just over half of the people who voted chose to leave by selecting too on an advisory referendum.

How do YOU know that?
And in any event, maybe an equal percentage who wanted to leave the EU did not vote either; so that would balance the numbers |

Whereas the Right doesn't ever attempt to persuade people to its point of view? You're complaining about people trying to promote their politics and world view. Everyone does this, you just don't like it because it's not your politics.

Yes, people on the left obviously think they're correct and that the right is wrong.
Meanwhile people on the right think they're correct, and that lefties are naive, gullible idiots.
Both sides have their narrative and spin. I'm just bored of seeing right wing people pretend they're somehow different. |

And also, all the celebs agree with the lefties, so obviously they're right!
Every single person who voted Tory, Leave or Trump is misguided and ignorant and it's the job of the enlightened ones to shout and scream and rant until all these uneducated rednecks agree with the preferred narrative!
Christ, they're tedious. |

Sure. That's why we've had so many left wing prime ministers. That's why Obama had to stick to pretty centrist policites. Because 'being a lefty is easy peasy'.

I voted to remain, I cannot abide Trump for umpteen reasons but calling people stupid because they voted for something you don't share is naïve..
you say stupid, they say stupid back..
what sort of dialogue is that..
its politics and people differ so maybe do more work to engage those of your thinking..
its when people call others stupid that they don't actually look and see what the perception and concerns are of those who felt they had to back someone as horrible as Trump..
division leads to nothing but barriers which lessens discourse and understanding.. |

Freedom of movement will not be an issue, it wasn't before, it wont be again. We had EU laws, but our own currency, so we still had the rip off of money exchange for every holiday abroad. Brexit will be what we make it. |

Trump does have power, the Republicans also control the Senate and the house of Representatives, now they have a Republican President with Trump, so yes Trump does have power, lots and lots and lots of Power. Trump has so much power he could change the American National anthem to SNAP - THE POWER (I've got the power) if he wanted to. |
