Independent 08th November....
Amendment 882 of the European Union will be debated in the European Parliament.
In essence this will allow citizens of former EU countries to retain the rights and priviliges of their EU citizenship.
I'd certainly go for that, but interestingly, Jayne Adye of the "Get Britain Out" campaign has described the motion as an outrage and that it would be totally unacceptable for any British person to retain the priviliges and advantages of EU membership in a post Brexit United Kingdom.

how could they let him win? People all over Europe would then want to be a citizen of a former EU country. In other words have the best of both worlds |

It would be useful for expats, UK residents of EU countries and those who simply wanted to retain freedom movement for themselves. But... Not sure what it would do to heal the division that has been created. Half of the country retaining EU passports and the other wanting to eradicate all notion of anything to do with the EU and having new passports, driving licences etc. |

people in northern ireland basically will already have this....
as part of the good friday agreement they get to have both uk and irish nationality...... so therefore it would be unfair if one part of the uk had that right, but the others didn't |
