So we are 4 weeks out from the U.S. Presidential Election, who do you think will actually win? Not who do you Want to win, but who will actually do it?

Hilary is edging it in the swing states and that is all that matters. The New York Times are suggesting that there are more "Trump tapes" yet to be released and these will have an effect on the female voters.

I think (and hope) that Hilary will up her game in the next 3-4 weeks and in the end it will be quite a comfortable win for her. That said, thezse are pronbably the two worst candidates i can ever remember and choosing either is a fairly bad choice.

Trump came across as a spiteful, petulant, bigotted 5 year old with no gravitas and no credible policies. He did manage to stifle the whole affair by constantly attacking Clinton. It was horrid viewing.

I really don't think, no matter how disillusioned the voters may be with the current state of politics, that he can win.

I suspect that further video footage may magically emerge over the course of the next few weeks. Behind the scenes Apprentice scenes, perhaps?

Trumps voting base is broadly white males. To win he needs females as well as the ethnic and non Christian votes.

It's been explained to you many times on here by various people on various threads but you simply don't listen or choose not to listen. People oppose it because it will undermine Nato and could cause further tensions and instability with countries on Europe's borders such as Russia.

But I have never heard anyone on here discuss the Combined Joint Expeditionary Force, or the Joint Expeditionary Force. Firstly hope Clinton wins...

Secondly an EU army is part of the Federal Europe dream, hence Juncker proposing it; federalists distrust NATO because of what is seen as American domination so seek to have an alternative.

Thirdly NATO has lost some credibility because the Americans sidestep using it if they think its members would not back US foreign policy aims e.g. Syria, Libya, Iraq. Likewise the US ignores the UN.

What we are seeing is a realignment potentially in organising armed forces across the world.

Hilary Clinton is an evil old witch, and I would rather see Jeremy Corbyn president of the US than her.

I do understand that Trump has made mistakes, not least the disgusting comments revealed in the released recording on the subject of women.

BUT actions speak louder than words, and nothing an old bigmouth can say, could ever be more wicked than the actions of the witches husband Bill Clinton. Actions that left behind them a host of female victims, victims who were subsequently threatened by Hilary when they blew the whistle on her perverted other half.

I have friends in the US, and they all hate her guts. It's up to them, not us, thankfully the people of the UK do not get a choice in the US election.

Go Donald

As a Republican said the other night (I can't remember his name).

"I don't agree with Hillary on anything, in fact I think she's wrong on everything she says. But only wrong within normal parameters of right and wrong that we've all learnt to live with. Trump is just plane wrong, period."

If I had a vote I'd vote Hillary this time round. Despite everything she just totally out classes Trump at every level. I know a lot of my Republican friends in the US feel the same. I think and hope she will win.

It is not normal to have your own side say that you shouldn't be President, that you don't have the right temperament, that their own candidate is not fit for office.

It's not just the other side saying that, it's their own side. People who know what they are talking about. People at the very top of domestic and international politics.

People should pay very close attention to that.

If the last British election and Referendum is anything to go by then we may well get an 'upset' i.e. Trump will get it but it is likely to be tight!?

And I'd like to see Clinton take a pre-debate drugs test. After all she's in perfect health and has absolutely nothing to hide, has she?

She's not running in the 100 metres in the Olympics, any suggestion of her or any US politician taking an enforced drugs test is ludicrous....and I'd take Clintons physical health over Trumps mental health any day as an indication of fitness to hold office.

Clinton supporters keep harping on about the polls, surely polls have lost all credibility now? The last 2 general election polls were wrong and the EU referendum polls were wrong. One poll put Leave 10 points behind Remain on the day of the EU referendum, can't help but think that the pollsters are colluding with the establishment to try and influence the result of elections now, but each time they lose then they become more discredited.

As corrupt public officials go, Hillary Clinton is in a league of her own. That’s according to a Washington ethics watchdog that just named the Democratic presidential front-runner as the top ethics violator of 2015.

The nonpartisan Foundation for Accountability and Civic Trust (FACT) placed Clinton at the top of its worst ethics violators of 2015 list after finding “overwhelming evidence” she abused her official position as secretary of state.

FACT is calling for various federal investigations into Clinton’s unethical behavior, much of which has been uncovered by the ongoing scandal surrounding her State Department emails.

“Those emails remained hidden from the public until earlier this year when it was discovered that Secretary Clinton conducted government business on her private email server and a judge ultimately ordered that she turn over and the State Department release the emails,” FACT noted in a statement.

FACT believes that some of those recently released communications raise questions about whether Clinton gave special State Department access to a private mining company with ties to her son-in-law,

The watchdog says Clinton has displayed similarly corrupt behavior on the campaign trail.

The group has asked the IRS to investigate whether Clinton violated State Department rules when her family foundation made payments of nearly $350,000 to her failed 2008 campaign to rent Clinton’s email list after she failed to secure the Democratic nomination. At the time of the transactions, Clinton’s State Department position prohibited her from doing certain types of fundraising on behalf of the campaign.

FACT is also requesting the Federal Elections Commission investigate the current Clinton campaign after it received an email list of 4 million potential supporters from a pro-Hillary super PAC. The list, according to FACT, constitutes an in-kind donation, which federal election laws prohibit candidates from accepting directly from PACs.

Clinton’s political corruption could also ensnare top Senate Democrats if FACT is successful in getting the Senate Select Committee to launch an additional investigation into whether Clinton campaign aides conducted political business in official Senate offices where campaign activities are prohibited.

“Elected officials are sent to Washington to follow and uphold the law and so they need to be held to the highest standard of ethics. Even the appearance of impropriety can quickly erode public trust, and Mrs. Clinton is in a league of her own,” said Matthew Whitaker, FACT’s executive director, in a statement.

While Clinton is by far FACT’s most corrupt official of 2015, seven other politicians also made the list for activities that violated the public trust in the past year. They include: Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.); Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.); Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.); failed Senate candidate Joe Sestak, a Pennsylvania Democrat; Rep. Frank Guinta (R-N.H.); Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.); and Rep. Robert Pittenger (R-N.C.).

I would normally be backing the Republican candidate but sometimes you have to look at the person to. Clinton is wrong about many things in my opinion but she's not nutter. I'm not sure anyone can seriously say the same about Trump. I can live with Hillary's finger on the button and go to sleep at night in the reasonable knowledge that the world will still be there when I wake up in the morning. Trump, on the other hand, just seems totally unpredictable, somewhat pernicious and definitely not someone I would want to introduce my mother or sisters to. I really don't think I would sleep easy at night knowing his chubby finger was anywhere near any buttons.

While I don't disagree with your assessment of Trump I think you are being very generous to Clinton. The US electorate are faced with Hobson's choice, two very weak and potentially dangerous candidates. Trump is obviously emotionally unstable with a juvenile approach to problem solving and Clinton appears deeply manipulative and married to a proven sex pest. I assume if Bill is allowed back into Pennsylvania Avenue they will chaperone the female interns?

"

Except that it's not really independent or unbiased if it's director, Matthew G. Whitaker, is a leading Republican who ran for the Senate (and lost) in 2015, is it?

"Trump will win

Dream on. Watch next week for a highly anticipated psychotic meltdown by the Trumpster.I would rather have someone that is against political correctness like trump and say how it is, not sure bout you? Look at sweden how wrong it gets when feminists are leading a country.

I assume if Bill is allowed back into Pennsylvania Avenue they will chaperone the female interns?"

I think he may have a bit of trouble raising his interest these days

Donald Trump is a bigmouth, and the things he said about women were bad, he admits as much himself.

But I will never believe the stories of the women who all of a sudden "come forward" at this time during an election campaign. So in turn I do not believe he is a sex pest, not like Hilary's husband Bill Clinton. Let's not forget that she bullied the women who tried to report him, helping him to get away with it.

I fear that the bigwigs in DC have made sure he lost as much support as possible, and have probably lost him the election. It's a shame, because the status quo has been preserved, when what the whole world needs is change!

Grooming young impressionable interns is hardly the right way to behave for the leader of a super power, denying it and lying too was a total disgrace,if a 23 yr old teacher screwed an 17 year old pupil they would be thrown out of the profession

the video of him talking about ten year girls, him stating 'its ok to call my daughter a piece of ass' and the audio in the bus oh and one of his wives accusation of rape were all before he stood for office..

or where they all down to the establishment, media and the 'outside interest's' planning ahead..?

I think it's safe to say that there is nothing that Trump could do that would change your mind about him.....fortunately you won't be able to vote.

you mean there are video's and audio transcripts of Clinton doing what Trump has done..?

they are both poor candidates but the antics of Trump are beyond the pale

and will I think be reflected in the outcome..

I agree, both here at home and there in the US we need some fundamental change. However I'm only in favour of change for the better and D. Trump is not it. I'd rather have no change than a change for the worse which D. Trump represents. For that reason, if I had a vote, this time around I would vote for Hillary.
