I think bake off got funded the usual way.... They made a programme, bbc paid for it, people liked it, they wanted more for it, bbc said get fucked, that's too much, they went ch4 , people won't watch it as much, it will die off.

Dont forget the frankly awful remakes of classic sitcoms losing sporting events to sky making bbc3 online only it is one disaster after another under the current licdnse system they simply dont have the financial clout to compete with commercial channels |

Perhaps they should have a new bake off format
Get Clarkson and those other two gormless fuckwits;
They each have to bake an idiotic themed cake every week,
And then do something mindless line smash it up or something .
You would have a huge audience of the oiks who love Clarkson, and whoever it is that watches this baking thing. |
