Which paper is the most neutral when it comes to political views?
I know most papers need to sell and make money. But I always thought the BBC was neutral. How naive of me! I still loved the channel 4 interviews by Jon Snow but are they neutral? |

No organisation can be completely neutral.....as none of us can be as people with free will. Have you read some of the Ch 4 news blogs........deary me... The BBC is better than most........but then i am neither left or right in my own politics  |

I believe on nationalisation to create a sustaining economy, having rights to education and care. But after that we're on our own. I guess working for international companies for 10 years altered my views.
So when I read papers I expect facts like how much waste we produce in the NHS. What improvements have been made. Less scaremongering more where are we now and what challenges they face.
I read channel 4 because they scrutinise politicians. So I watch it for fun. |

BBC is one of the worst for left wing bias. Independent is as close to neutral as you'll get. |

This would be funny if it were based upon a grain of truth. Sadly it's the usual right wing crap trotted out by some of here...
The truth is the BBC is stacked full of rightwingers. The chairman of the BBC Trust is Chris Patten, a former Conservative cabinet minister.
The BBC's political editor, Nick Robinson, was once chairman of the Young Conservatives.
His former senior political producer, Thea Rogers, became George Osborne's special advisor in 2012.
Andrew Neil, the presenter of the BBC's flagship political programmes Daily Politics and This Week, is chairman of the conservative Spectator magazine.
His editor is Robbie Gibb, former chief of staff to the Tory Francis Maude.
I could go on but I think these facts alone, collected by others, go to show just how erm left wing the BBC is....

The BBC is the only place I've ever seen a constant deluge of articles on such topics as how fucking great Cuba is, how cold war defectors were misunderstood patriots and how the NHS is the envy of the world. |

Personally I try to stay away from as much "news" as possible.... Who's that story news to?.. not me, I couldn't give a fuck about the guys who's dog jumped into the river and was dragged along by currents, the house fire in Staffordshire... Not interested, I'm being honest, I really don't care that three people burned to death in a house fire... That entire story is not about news, it's about changing or actually challenging your perceptions on what you think is relevant... Hate crimes are up... Who gives a shit I'm white.... Job losses in steel... Nah I work in a different industry.,.. Rail strike... Who cares I haven't taken a train for ten years???.
The news has always been about changing cultural attitudes.... To which point the bias becomes more important than the news! |

I would say that the international media lack a fundamental understanding of what a balanced debate is. Watching more of them doesn't solve that because they all make the same mistake, from what I can see. A balanced debate is not one with two extreme positions throwing mud at each other anymore than having a chip on each shoulder would make you a balanced person! |

Just put them on big brother for a month and expose them as they are. Although would the psychologists would still know how to put a biased reaction into it. |
