My parents were around before the UK joined the EU and its predecessors and they voted to remain as well. |

The majority of over 50s voted to leave the 3 day week had nothing to do with the EU it was the Government against the Unions. |

No it really wasn't.
Crude oil went up four fold and the entire world went into an energy deficiency the electricity was withheld to commercial uses to only 3 days a week.... Hence the 3 day working week |

The UK wasn’t perfect before we join the EU (and predecessors), the UK isn’t perfect now, and the UK won’t be perfect in the future if we leave the EU or not. But I think on balance, that the UK is better off in the EU than out of it. |

For the first half of the 20th century the USA was in effect Saudi Arabia in terms of oil production, unfortunately it peaked in 1970/71 and coincided with the Arab states withholding oil because of the Israel/Palestine conflict.
The world went into an energy deficiency for the first time since it gushed fourth in Pennsylvania.
Heavy unionisation of industry may not have helped the UKs situation but it didn't cause the three day working week |

The fact remains if I remove 35% of your daily energy intake you ain't going to get as much done as you did yesterday.. of course you could look to your inefficancys of where you wasted some energy yesterday so you could do the same today as you did yesterday but with 35% less energy?.
Of course the countries best placed to do this would be maybe ones that had been flattened and rebuilt through war, running with no excess costs?.
Germany and Japan just happened to have stumbled into the perfect scenario for world domination that they couldn't achieve with bullets... Now that's irony  |

high carbs & protein as well as a number of amino acids & creatine
