Looks like Macron has corrected Trump's BS, right to his face. It had no effect - how could it? I suppose he just felt he had to show it was safe to do it. 🙂

Well, he's been shown it's possible. Maybe he'll decide that growing a pair of balls isn't worth it because Donald won't be in listening mode?

Not long until we find out.

Starmer should let Trump do his thing. We should still support Ukraine war effort but reduced. Putin will be dead soon, the Vodka has nachoed his brain and liver, he's living on borrowed time.

Russia and China will fall out and go to war.

Abject humiliation for Starmer with Macron meeting Trump first.

I feel sorry for Trump having to meet non entity Starmer who must be one of the most boring politicians on the planet.

Just as well that politicians such as Macron, Starmer, von der Leyen etc. are on power at the moment rather than the fawning Tory party that we only recently (and thankfully) got rid of or the far right fascists who are corrupting politics with their lies and exaggerated statements in the name of free speech (free speech is not a ticket to make up facts in the name of truth. We have enough of that with Putin at the moment and saw that with Hitler, Stalin, Mussolini and others in the past).

Those who think they have the needs of the country at heart yet are willing to accept, repeat and often violently protest to get their own way, are not what any country needs.

There's a right way and wrong way of getting Trump to do what you want, according to ex advisors on programmes such as Question Time and Sunday with LK. So what might look soft or ball-less is actually playing a narcissist. They also stated Trump holds grudges

And?

You have weird views. If our PM feels slighted re YOUR perceived hierarchy view, then he should not be a leader.

Tactful praise frequently disarms narcissists and makes them vulnerable.

.

Knowing when to appeal to their Ego (because they have huge Ego's. Bigly ones in fact) will also allow you to gain temporary control over their actions and behaviour.

.

Their Ego is their weakness and it's very easy to appeal to an Ego that craves attention. That gives you control.

.

Pay attention to their insecurities. These are prime motivators for them. Exploit those and you'll manipulate the narcissist.

.

Remember that all of the above is not designed to harm the narcissist. That is not the goal as it's ethically questionable at best.

.

They may "harm" you, but you do not and should not have to respond in kind. After all, they are a person with a recognised mental illness. We don't want to harm them.

.

We just need to insulate ourselves from their behaviour, and "nudge" it in to directions that do not harm them but favour us.

.

Look at who a certain President is "friends" with and understand who is "playing" who very effectively.

Boring, as in rational, calm and cool-head might just be what the world needs right now. We have belligerent autocrats strutting the world stage.

to be fair, Micro Macron is a lame duck too. His country hate him and will soon be gone. Starmer is also hated by the vast majority of his country too. Sadly, he will cling on like a stubborn tagnut for a few more years.

Labour voters:

July 2024: “Things can only get bet-tah! Can only get bet-tah”!

August 2024: Keir is just SO SEXY! Sensible Centrist Dads get me SO HOT!

October 2024: It’s just Tory scum moaning. Sore losers! Get with the programme!

December 2024: sure it’s not the best start but there’s still time to turn it around.

February 2025: at least Labour aren’t as shit as the last lot.
