Not quite speedy… slow ya horse!
What happened today is that he passed the committee holding the confirmation along party lines… which means he now goes forward to the entire senate for the vote
He can afford to lose 3 republicans in that vote and still be confirmed
I think it will be close, I found it interesting that 3 of the republicans on the senate hearing were former doctors, and they were sceptical of a lot of his positions
Just because they voted yes now, don’t be surprised if one or 2 voted no at final vote |
