It certainly appears to have become more toxic and posts I have no interest in started popping up no matter how much blocking etc I tried doing.
Eventually I gave up and deleted my account. Going off what I’ve read a lot of users have done the same. |

os that because its better than twitter or is just full of people who all agree with each other if the 2nd that does seem a bit like an echo chamber, isnt it better to be exposed to all sorts of views, personaly here and you tube is about the only things i use, twatter has never really appealed to me and im guessing bluesky is the same sort of platform |

I still use X for what I originally created an account for; sports news. Since it came from twitter, it's barely changed in that respect...
The algorithm changes though have just made it more trivial and reminds me that all Internet sources must be limited to real life interactions  |

The ability to buy a blue tick has allowed some fans of every sport to monetise controversial opinions. I say Harry Kane shouldn't captain England again because he's gone to Munich and turned them into Spurs (stopped them winning trophies) - England, Bayern and Spurs fans react and drive engagement.  |
