Turns out the Govt Minister Tulip Sadiq (whose job involves tackling financial corruption) was gifted two London Properties by a family friend heavily involved with the Bangladeshi Govt. Her family has already been accused of receiving billions from Putin in a corrupt nuclear power deal.

Is this the same Government which complains about American philanthropist Elon Musk doing a few tweets about Sir Kier ?

If a foreigner supports vocally or financially a party I like, it's just for the greater good.

If a foreigner supports vocally or financially a party I don't like, it's interference.

"Labour's largest donation at last election came from Cayman Island hedge fund. £4m."

Why is this not a Guardian or BBC headline

"

The new UK to US ambassador Peter Mandelson committed mortgage fraud hiding three mortgages totalling £600,000, when on a salary of £43,000, so he could get another mortgage from the Yorkshire building society to buy a house in Notting Hill.

Trumped I guess by Rachel Reeves getting a £145,000 ministerial job via a fraudulent CV

Add more Labour MP’s jailed for expenses fraud than from any other party

Tulip Sadiq has been accused of wrongdoing for years and it seems she lied about how she got her freebie Hampstead flat. Yet Starmer appointment her as an anti corruption Minister! 🤦‍♂️

Well maybe there is method in his madness. If she is indeed corrupt herself then probably knows how to spot corruption and the tricks or tactics they use. Alternatively he could just be a blithering idiot

From my understanding, this is a cross party issue and there's some weird loophole (of course) which means they can essentially get away with not having a clear identity/ trace of where the money comes from. Hence why the other parties aren't currently making a load of noise about it. I read about this a few months ago.

champagne socialist, isn’t about true socialism.... it’s about hypocrisy and performative virtue signalling, which fits Labour’s current direction perfectly and especially the subject matter of this thread Tulip Siddiq

We will never know! Socialists can’t agree what "real socialism" is, so there is no chance implementing it.

I have worked out it contains a lot of envy and plenty of cancelling..

Surprise, surprise yet another M.P don't care what party has been caught in corruption.

But why is anyone surprised we all know the score by now.

She isn't even doing a skim off the top, she has found her own backers who give her and her family quite a lot of cash not a good look but most other M.Ps are fiddling expenses, doing the old skim off the top or just blatantly taking money in some way and when caught say sorry.

But they are not to blame the blame lays at our feet for putting up with it, hell voting for it even.
