"Kier Starmer's Christmas playlist:
Last Christmas (for all you pensioners)
White Christmas (that's the frost on your nose)
Baby It's Cold Inside (when you can't afford heating)
"
Driving Home for Christmas was on the original playlist. That was until Chris Rea decided he couldn't afford the petrol, congestion charge, and ULEZ. |

This is about Starmer not Khan.
The congestion charge was brought in by Ken Livingston. Boris was elected twice as mayor since then. Did he get rid of it ? |

Quite. The BBC has aired lots of songs with political content and lyrics, don't see why this one is different? |

The BBC was forced to mention it as its sitting at No.37 in top 40.
They mentioned it but never played it |

"We're pensioners and I'm not going to be freezing this Christmas. For a start it's not going to get below zero in the south "
Not all pensioners are in south
Scotland had a spell of 9 days in a row of - degrees temperatures few weeks back |

True. What percentage of Scottish pensioners will not be eligible for the winter fuel payment? |

Apparently they don’t play political songs. They didn’t play the ding Dong the witch is dead song when Margaret Thatcher died even though apparently it reached number two in the charts.
Just out of interest has any other channel played it ? |

The BBC is meant to try and produce a balanced broadcast. It would struggle to find an anti-right-wing song to balance that one.
In 2018–2020, there were approximately 3,137,000 people aged 65 and older living in households with a total wealth of over £1,000,000 in the United Kingdom. I think it is disgusting that they should miss out on the WFP. They need it to heat their huge houses.
The low paid workers who's Tax pays for this freeby don't need to heat their houses because they are out working 2 or 3 jobs to survive and aren't home. The Conservative knew what they were doing when they left the means tested WFP for Labour to pick up. |
