But but but but but................labour have only been in power for 6 months - how can anyone expect them to get anything of use to be done in 6 months, 12 months, a few years etc? It will take at least a few decades before history is re-written by socialists to make it look as though labour did something of use in the mid-2020's.

But they have done something fantastic in the past six months that will become beneficial to the UK in the longer term. The Tories did the same thing over the past 5 years....that thing being, they've made themselves totally unelectable.

Gosh - that sounds exactly like the excuses that the Brexiteers have been giving is whilst we wait for the sunlit uplands.

Surely Labour should have sorted out everything within the first week!

There is really only one thing that can be pinned squarely on the Tories, and it’s something that’s proving to be a daily challenge for this government, and Labour should hold them accountable for it!

The tories didn't set the bar low enough, I mean it was very low, but labour seem to have tripped over it anyway.

"I just thought we could all blame the Tories for everything "

Unfortunately that does not give accountability to the new government who since taking office

Inflation up

Economy down

Interest rate cuts stalling due to budget

Business confidence fallen, four consecutive months

Boat arrivals not cut

Housing delivery already failed

These are Labour failures. Broken pledges

You can't possibly expect Labour to start work on those yet, it's only been 5 months.

Forget the long haul

Things have worsened since July, all on labours watch. Principally the deteriorations are directly related to the budget

Inflation up

Economy down

Interest rate cuts stalling due to budget

Business confidence fallen, four consecutive months

Have to pick you up on the housing delivery point. The deputy PM has apparently said in an interview that it is mandatory for councils to meet the targets. I wonder who she will blame if the 1.5 million is not met

Councils may be forced to meet the targets, but demanding 50% social units on private enterprise sites not going to happen. And the budget (slower interest rate falls) has dampened new build starts and buyers affordability. - own goal

How long are you willing to let things go before you will begin to consider calling out labours poor judgement on policies and direction?

Labour never had a clue they just wanted to be in government.

This country has been lacking serious experienced MP's for a long time now and if doesn't change it will continue to get worse regardless of party

Can you please go to Google and put in 'pledge progress' then have a look at the pledges kept, then tell us which ones you think are wrong, are poor judgement or poor direction.

Off the top of my head I'm going to find the pledges kept: take money off allegedly rich people, people they don't think are workers and give it to the public sector workforce even though they are underperforming, in the words of Starmer.

Not a chance will I spend any time proving you wrong or right, because whatever the output you will move it onto whataboutery.

Starmer has needed to reboot his policies today, relaunch day1, they were that poor.

They should be doing better, as you allude to, the tories made a mess, so not a lot to do to make themselves look better you would have thought.

Look if you don't want to look at evidence compiled independently of what they are doing, have done, and are promising to do and just stick to your own pre conceived prejudice and ideas, that's fine. But dnt come in here acting like you are the arbiter of if they are doing a good job based on your own remeberane of what you think needsto be done as opposed to what was in the manifesto to be achieved over 5 years.

Today was all about reminding people like you who can't think for themselves the situation.

Starmer: no more gimmicks, I'm going to get on with the job..

Media: yeah, but what are you doing this week.

Starmer: I've told you I am getting on with it and not making up stuff on the fly to get a headline to take the heat if some scandal. You can report on government business.

Media: Starmer to kill your gran.

You: why are labour killing my gran?

Starmer: ok fine, I will have a stupid press conference and repeat what I have said before so you have something to stick in the paper .

Media: why are you doing a relaunch, is it because you are failing?

You: why isn't Kier Starmer talking about the things I want him to talk about that my team had 14 years to fix and only made worse. Why is he having a relaunch?? Why isn't he giving an arbitrary number that is irrelevant to delivery as proven by the last 14 years?

Starmer : FFS, you people.

So do you think the 1.5 million homes is posable to build in 5 years. When you look at supply chain, and the workforce to do this? Even if Labour start paying for homes to be built I personally don't see them getting close to a this promise.

Starmer and his cronies can say any old crap because they think they won't lose office and are untouchable.

It'll end in tears.
