Ukraine will pay us back for every piece of equipment granted to them
The issue with this equipment is that it won’t be of much use to then which has always been the issue with granting aid.Yes we have them 14 challengers but it’s a thousand mile front essentially
What was of most use to the Ukrainians was the Americans giving them Bradley’s to replace the BMPs.Prevented the Russians from moving their troops around quickly which is also what they’re aiming to do with the storm shadows |

If they are still serviceable they should be used if they would be useful.
The main issue is that we are scrapping capabilities before their replacements are in service.
At the cusp of WW3.
Then again our comrades in government will just keep the red flags flying so their communist friends can feel welcomed. |

Labour can't be trusted on defence. They were the ones were squandered the UK's 10 year lead in military aviation when the cancelled TSR2 (a superb fighter-bomber). Our defence industry never recovered. |

The money won’t come from Ukraine. It will come from the $630bn seized Russian currency assets held under global sanctions.
£500m in old kit, hand it over to ukraine, they actually need it. |

I hate the idea of this, but I can’t see Ukraine beating the Russians, no matter how many weapons they are given. I just get the feeling that they will run out of combat personnel. Meanwhile the Russians will continually send more and more, because of their massive population, that and the hundred thousand trained troops sent from North Korea. I know, it stinks, but unless we start sending troops (and we have a massive shortage of them anyway) the Ukraine don’t stand a chance. |
