Energy price cap due to go UP in January

At least 1% raise just when we need it most

Pensioners will be happy

If only we we're tied to externally priced fossil fuels. Oh well.

I can’t believe this.

Miliband told us our energy bills would go down by £300.

They will if you turn the heating off and get a few candles.

Yep so we turn down the heating use less demand less price goes up again on top of the next rise.

Price boost the shares.

Watch out for train fares go up in January too, food up, petrol will go up because they just like to join in.

Miliband is just another government mouthpiece who spouts crap and/or untruths written for him by civil servants who either don't know anything about what they ought to (which is bad), or know the facts but ignore them to peddle ideological twaddle (which is worse)

Net zero? It'll never be achieved. Might get close to it if homo sapiens became extinct.

Too much tripe being talked about CCS, nuclear fusion, so-called 'green' hydrogen etc, etc, etc. Be realistic. Read (or re-read) your physics textbooks. Listen to pragmatic engineers and scientists, not to those who are zealots and 'blue sky thinkers' (an expression which I can't stand). Stop believing lies from the likes of Drax who effectively mark their own homework to make us believe burning trees is better than burning coal, when all they really want is the huge taxpayer funded subsidies.

Blame the government, they like prices high as they get lots of tax for themselves and their NGO chums.

They join in because we pay, when we say no more and stop paying then we will see a difference, as long as we are consumers then we will pay more and more for things we do not really need.

And we have over looked the water bill rise coming this January, I have already told my provider they can dream on and will continue to pay 20 pounds a month.
