A report commissioned by the Government of Wales/Cymru has concluded that racist dogs are stopping the countryside becoming more diverse and inclusive, and had recommended banning dogs from these areas, or possibly anywhere outside.

Is this a sensible move to placate dog haters, or simply Welsh wokery at work ? 🐶🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Welsh Conservatives have hit out at the report, labelling it "nonsense".

Leader Andrew RT Davies said: "Divisive nonsense submitted as part of Labour's so called 'Anti Racist Wales Action Plan'.

"The whole thing should be scrapped."

Apparently some of the proposers had just finished a meeting with an Imam and he said dogs are unclean in Islam.Seems they ran with it from there

Also there were complaints a while back about dogs acting aggressive that totally have nothing to do with the heavy speakers the group brought blaring music

Welsh are wild.Thier number one minority is still English people but you’d believe the other groups make up half the population

This "study" was funded by the Welsh government. Next time the government comes to you to collect more taxes, remember how they are wasting your money.

I had to look this up, found an article from LBC

I think the crux of the argument in the report was about inclusion, and that by having dog free zone's they'd be more inclusive to people who are likely worried about dog's

There were also sections of the report to do with racism, but not I think linked to the dog bit so a bit of a click bait title

I'm a dog owner and I understand people maybe wanting dog free green zones as some pricks don't pick up after their dogs, or have dogs off leash that shouldn't be but it's a shame that to be inclusive you must exclude others

Presumably dog free zones mean no guide dogs or service dogs?

Potentially

For instance during the summer months dog's aren't allowed on beaches (May to September)

Maybe not dog free zone's entirely, but maybe dog free time periods

It's actually illegal to exclude guide dogs under the 2010 Equality Act.
