No, they're a group of ladies denying men sex, not having babies and shaving their heads because their preferred choice of candidate didn't sweep to victory in a fair and democratic election.

I see a scenario where, if Trump tries to strong arm Ukraine into capitulation, Poland, Latvia and Lithuania's armies, at least, will go to Ukraine's aid because otherwise they will be next.
Those countries are NATO so the USA, under Trump, will use this as an excuse to withdraw from NATO, as he wants to. Pretty soon the UK, France and Germany will get involved followed by Sweden, and Finland. WW3 would follow. Sadly Trump has created so much paranoia amongst his followers about other nations there will be no one to resist him in the USA.

I’m sure it is Putin that has created the paranoia, your post touches on some of it.
There is no way Putin will turn his attention towards Poland or any other NATO member, I’m not sure if his military are going to be capable for a significant amount of time.
I would expect, Ukraine to give up the territory it has lost and join NATO unchallenged by Russia as the negotiated end game. |

I know there a lot of noise around the money the US is spending but remember the vast majority of that spending is with America manufacturers so a good proportion of that money is staying in the US economy.
I think buying weapons from your own country (UK and Germany take note) is a lot better than doing nothing and one day being forced to send troops. |

Trump says he spoke to Putin. Putin says he did not. Putin is playing Trump, always has, always will.
That is where the danger lies. Because of his sad upbringing, (not his fault) DJ Trump is very vulnerable to the inflence of powerful men. He believes he can negotiate with them, but he cannot.
The Afghanistan withdrawal is a good example of that. He left Biden, unbriefed, with a fait acomplis shit show.
Then there is "Mexico will pay for the wall" - the Mexican President said they were not " .. paying for that fucking wall .."; and they didn't.
When the CIA and FBI told him Russia had interfered in the 2016 election he said "President Putin says it's not Russia. I don't see any reason why it would be,".
Diplomacy may be viewed as a weakness by Republicans but it is better than capitulation. |
