In other words (and later in the article) "Much of the gains for the top 10 was because of a surge in US stocks...". What a strange way of portraying something generally considered as "positive" as something less palatable. They could've gone with "workers' pension funds receive windfall boost from global stock markets", but no. They're clearly preempting the inevitable claim from Trump that markets like him more, but still... Manipulative journalism.
