The BBC has infiltrated and exposed a Vietnamese people smuggling gang. Turns out Vietnam are now the biggest source of Channel migrants. The gang leaders, illegal entrants themselves, are on UK benefits whilst running a lucrative people smuggling sideline. When even the BBC are shocked at blatant criminality is it time we sat up and took notice? Maybe even did something about it?

The Government will do what every government does.
It will say how terrible the dangers suffered by the migrants can be.
It will talk about being tough with the smugglers.
It will set up more layers of bureaucracy that it says will tackle the problem.

But it's not a question of panic, it's more about stamping out criminality and having respect for our laws. That matters imo or else we have anarchy (which is pretty much what our border enforcement is reduced to anyway). |

Actually this was new arrangement with Vietnam was negotiated by the Conservative Govt and signed by James Cleverly in April.  |
