t’s not about blind loyalty to any one party. Reform, Lib Dems, or even a coalition government might offer something different, but the focus has to be on policies and competence, not just the party label.
At the end of the day, we need leaders with a clear strategy to fix public services or even to close some services, get the economy on track, and rebuild trust and that’s where Starmer is struggling. In my opinion, he came out too fast, exposing cracks within his cabinet, and it didn’t look good. Labour’s policies are scattered, and the lack of direction in these first 100 days has only highlighted their inexperience.

So who did you vote for and why?"
I voted for the party that I thought would offer the best outcome for business with the best understanding of economics and the financial sectors, that ticks my main boxes |

"To those who have spent the last 100 days criticising everything that the current government has performed which party do you think would have done better.
Not labour is not an answer."
I'm not usually a fan of PR and always thought FPTP brought us stability. But I'm starting to wonder if coalition might a better system of governance after all. |

I don’t think it really matters anymore, no matter who gets in the uk is doomed because no government will or will be allowed to put the uk first.
Net zero is going to bankrupt us and the unions will hoover up the rest.
4 years is a long time and so much damage can be done in that time.

That’s exactly what we need but let’s be realistic , most economists haven’t got a clue the models they use are so outdated, so it’s highly unlikely any politicians are able to control a complex economy. But if they started just fixing housing and infra everything else might magically improve a bit.
It’s not about parties, it’s just a case of waiting for another Thatcher, Blair or Cameron - a smart person with the right plan to come along |

Reform could be a good option for you. They are science deniers, prioritise the profits of fossil fuels companies, and don't want workers to be represented by unions. ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |

It's like this, not to say I was expecting Labour to sort out the problems the country has straight away of course I didn't however the first 100 days of Labour has so far been reeked of greed, stupidity and spite |

"For the avoidance of doubt They're not a PLC as in public limited company. They are very much a Private Limited Company with Farage and Tice main shareholders and financial beneficiaries."
that's even worst, a private company in government running the country |

I think the main issues have been superficial, more related to bad PR than much else. The Green party appears very polished and intelligent and would probably have had a joyous first 100 days, albeit with criticism from everywhere. I like people who have measured debates and policies, highlighting decency and consideration for the majority. |

Iv seen 10 years of labour, useless, 10 years of torries, slightly better but realistically useless. Reform for me although I just can’t see the uk getting any better any time soon. |

People demonised scientists.
Workers didn't have as many rights.
There were no environmental protections.
Foreigners were treated as the enemy.
That kind of stuff. |

Redeveloping commodities that we have our own.
Heavy machine industries, mining, farming, energy sector. Wind & wave power. Uk has huge potential if people believe in the government and had something given back.
There is also the issue of people crossing the Channel. I’m 100% behind diversity and having a multi cultural country but we have no idea who’s coming or going, tougher borders required.
I could go on all day. |

BBC ran a story the other week reporting that farage is giving up ownership of reform. Apparently he was the major share holder before this change. They also say that reform are making changes to how the party is run and its members will now vote on policy motions. Not sure if still classed as a plc or not after the changes |

Reform are in favour of using science and promoting renewable energy? Shocking (if true). ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |

It doesn't matter, we are where we are...but don't expect this to be anything more than a one term government |

No political party is going to solve the country's problems until people face the harsh truth. This country is getting close to an ageing population crisis. And 9 million people in working age aren't working.
These problems will only get worse. This means the social services would just start breaking down one by one. So people need to be honest about the situation and choose which public welfare system they are willing to sacrifice.
Until people are willing to face this harsh reality, it will just be a musical chair contest between different politicians who promise to solve the problem but wouldn't/couldn't.
If people don't realise it sooner, at some point, debt will spiral out of control like Argentina and we will need someone like Milei to give shock treatment to the economy. |

The BBC only mention of amount of MP's is in 100 not 150 and is only in relation to members being able to call for a vote of no confidence. It is not related to the shares farage is giving up or the members voting on policy motions |
