Is Starmer the number 1 pub harmer?

So he is not content with talking about a pub garden smoking ban for pubs he is also now talking about restricting how many hours they can stay open, why does he seem to have issues against pubs? Surely it's not anything to do with being barred from a pub in Bath during lockdown and more recently also being barred by Jeremy Clarkson from his new pub? Surely a politician should be more thick skinned than to be so vindictive against pubs which are very much a part of our unique national heritage?

Ah that's a shame. You're just too late to delete this now. If you'd read the story any further he's literally called the whole thing "nonsense".

I wouldn't have deleted it regardless of him calling it "nonsense"

His health minister Andrew Gwynne didn't think such a proposal was "nonsense" or why mention it at their conference?

Perhaps if the pubs closed earlier, A&E would be quieter then all those people looking for an operation might get seen faster.

Or is your priority lining the pockets of the Wetherpoison owners pockets.

The entire post (including your own elaborate fairytale reasoning as to why he is doing it) was aimed only at Starmer. Not at someone who might know him or was in the same building as him. That's why 🤷🏻
