In the other thread, it was asked who voted Labour. I did.

Anyone thinking Labour could correct all what went wrong through the previous tory shite govt in two months (most of that being in recess), give your head a wobble.

Let them have their five years, then complain. But note, it will take longer than that to do a complete 360 degree turn around to become a thriving economy, an ok tax system, more buildings (homes, hospitals, prisons), a better staffed and happier public sector (therefore meeting productivity requirements), a handle on immigration (legal and asylum seekers), energy costs levelled out, and clean waters (re sewage control).

Once they decided to stop the rich tax it was finally over for me and labour, well I didn't vote for them I voted for no one and will continue to do so.

M.P's are just one large group called the privy counsel, and their allegiance is to Charlie not me.

Everyone Tory government have borrowed more and repayed less than every Labour government since the end of WW2.

The last Tory government placed the largest tax burden on the electorate for over 75 years.

And under Blair the government saw the longest, continuous period of growth of any party in modern history.

So what are you actually basing your opinions on because it's not facts. Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story though, Mrs x

Labour promised to undo all of the most unpopular Tory policies. They haven’t unpicked one, all they have done is the unthinkable, they have gone after pensioners.

Whatabotery means nothing, especially when things are just going to get worse.

If Labour really are that much better, when are they going to undo what was already done?

The tag line of people expecting labour to turn the country around in 2 months is obviously not a true reflection of public thinking. However, it offers a comfort blanket for the leftists who are watching what can only be described as a piss poor start by labour that not even our resident anti labour poster was expecting.

Nobody expected labour to set about making things worse that they already were, it was a near impossible thing to do, but my god they are going for it.

Labour have moved on some key issues already:-

- Reduced pensions

- Awarded lavish public sector pay increases

- Imprisoned protesters

- Released criminals into the community

It's already starting to feel like a socialist paradise.

There is one piece of very important news that seems to have flown under the radar.

Barratt housing, the largest builder in Britain has pulled 4 planning applications over the governments proposals to make 50% of the build affordable housing on green belt as part of it drive 1.5 million new homes.

They have rightly said it offers no value in building, so guess what they are not going to bother.

I called this out when they launched their manifesto, pledging to build 1.5 million homes and saying the private sector would do the work.

The very idea they can make a private business do their bidding is bat shit crazy

Also remember my prediction that Starmer wouldn't last the term, and the sankes would be removing him to allow the left of the party in..... I'm feeling quietly confident about that.

I've lived through several Labour and Tory governments how I've survived is probably sheer luck. Because everyone of them has tried to fuck my life up continously. With the promise of improving it in the future.

I've worked out I would have to live until at least 2070 to see any improvement if there is a country left by then.

I can't see this goverment doing any better than the one before.

They'll have their scandals along the way.

They'll fall out with Unions.

They'll tax the nuts out of everybody.

They'll even get in a beef with Europe without even being in it.

Build new houses wishful thinking.

More trouble with water companies.

Foreign investment? All a bit pie in the sky.

It's not as promising as they make out whether it be in 5,10 or 15 years.

Hopefully newer more democratic parties grow who will replace the red and blue dictatorship we've had to endure, which have wrecked this country and keep trying to fuck up my life.

I'm the type of person who calls out right/wrong wherever I see it no matter who they are, even with my left leaning bias. Two months is not enough time to correct things. Ffs it'd take a miracle to correct things in two years!

We've already seen a few bits of cronyism in just a few weeks or as Labour fans like yo say 'it's mostly been recess', so maybe it's happened in a few days.
