Uk turning a blind eye to Israeli war crimes

Foreign Office official Mark Smith, a counter-terrorism official based at the British embassy in Dublin had quit over UK refusal to ban arms exports to Israel
The piece written in the guardian today he says:
Smith said he had previously worked in Middle East arms export licensing assessment for the government and “each day” colleagues were witnessing “clear and unquestionable examples” of war crimes and breaches of international humanitarian law by Israel in Gaza.
“Senior members of the Israeli government and military have expressed open genocidal intent, Israeli soldiers take videos deliberately burning, destroying and looting civilian property,” he wrote. “Over half of Gaza’s homes and over 80% of Gaza’s commercial properties have been damaged or destroyed.
“Whole streets and universities have been demolished, humanitarian aid is being blocked and civilians are regularly left with no safe quarter to flee to. Red Crescent ambulances have been attacked, schools and hospitals are regularly targeted. These are war crimes.”
He said there was “no justification for the UK’s continued arms sales to Israel, yet somehow it continues”.
Foreign secretary David Lammy has expressed concern about Israel’s conduct, but is apparently still allowing arms exports to continue the killing.

Eight months on Israel claims to have killed only 15,000 Hamas fighters out of an estimated 50,000-60,000. So either the Israeli military is crap at identifying legitimate targets, or they are carpet bombing civilians. |

They are both crap at identifying legitimate targets, and they are carpet bombing civilians.
More bombs have been dropped on Gaza since October than were dropped on The UK (and Dresden) during the entirety of WWII. |

I wonder how many of their own people Hamas targets then blames Israel?
If Israel really didn't gaf about civilians I suspect they'd have done a hell of a lot more damage than now. |

One major art of the conflict is the attitude of the Israeli government. It's an ultra right apartheid state that routinely commits war crimes that spawned hamas.
