I truly believe demons walk this earth, in the guise of human beings. They are called skin walkers in various cultures. Can also manifest in animals. Take possession of the host. The demon lahmia can do this. |

My friend who grew up in an African country firmly believes in witches. She asked me if I thought a strange cat that came in to her house was one.
I accept that it's part of her culture and just told her that I didn't think it was. |

I have seen a ghost as a child and as a adult, I believe some people are more tuned to the frequency of the supernatural. As i am on the trans spectrum, I would be included in the shamen two spirit category of people who were revered by certain north americas tribes. |

It's an aspect of several religions, whose beliefs formed prior to contact with each other.
Maybe a narrative where there is some potential to control or explain the brutality of life is preferable to a reality that we are fragile skin bags who could die at any moment and there is no protective force guiding our existence or inherent meaning.
At least demons are interesting and make for good stories. I wonder how many people with mental health issues have been historically treated as demonically possessed and submitted to exorcisms, torture or execution? |

It amazes me what people believe based on their sister-in-laws, nephews, friends reposted Facbook update. Educate yourself and actually fact check things rather than spouting utter pish on public forums.
As for it being like North Korea, we all just had an opportunity to vote, we live in a democracy and if you dont like it you have the opportunity to change it.

It's a sense of proportion isn't it really? If the guy reacts disproportionately he could be on assault charges and become the one facing consequences.
The justice system considers mitigating circumstances, well it should do. Faith in the justice system is a whole other subject though really. |

Shut the front door, I've actually been pacing for 10mins or so with my mind pondering 2 specific events in my life, one of which when I was a boy the other when I was an adult. I've always kind of found it silly to try and talk about them but as you have been so open now shall I.
The 1st was when I was 10 I can only really explain it as a cloud of light. It was a bright day and I was in my bedroom on my own curtains open and sunshine shining, I was definitely sitting in a chair like reading or colouring at a table or chest of draws it was so long ago I can't exactly remember which (from this point on the memory is still crystal clear) but something made me turn round and behind me there was a cloud of light in the corner of my room above my bed it was like 1 and a half ft in size (maybe a bit smaller as I was only 10) but it was a strange cloud of light just sitting there brighter than the light around it I remember thinking oh wow that's like pretty cool and I jumped on me bed and put my hand it and this may sound silly but it was like putting my hand in the freezer, I remember it very well I stood there for a minute or 2 trying to work out exactly what this floating cloud of light was reflecting off of(the change in temperature I remember thinking it must be because of reflection lol) then after a minute I shrugged it off and continued on with whatever it was I was doing and still to this day I've never seen anything like it. as I got older I chalked it off as just a Childs wild imagination.
The 2nd time I was 20 and living in a room at a YMCA which happened to be home to some old friends with which we became close and was always back and forth to each others rooms. One evening after some gaming in one of me mates rooms with a few us, he wanted to have a shower and we all went back to our rooms for a bit. I remember I went into my room I didn't lock the door as often we didn't to save having to get up and answer it, we'd just shout "come in". I didn't even put the light on I just went to my bed and laid on my belly with my feet on the pillow and my chin on my hands waiting for the 5-10 minutes to pass as that's how quick he often was. I can't remember exactly what I was thinking of at the time but I remember I definitely wasn't tired, anyways after a few minutes I felt a hand on my shoulder it wasn't like a boo hand it was just like a casual hand on the shoulder hand and thinking it to be one of my mates I just didn't hear come in I pushed myself up and spun my head round to see who it was and laugh as you may on my very soul no one was there. I didn't handle it to well this time though it honestly scared the crap out of me I immediately put the light on and ran out of my door I'm not sure I even went back in the room that night and my mates found it hilarious but it honestly freaked me out, anyways the next day I had a phone call and found out that someone close and dear to me had passed away the previous day, it took the haunting feeling away and left a more soulful warmth. With that and the experience when I was 10 from that day onwards I have always thought there's definitely more to existence than meets the eye! I'm sorry this is so long and hey if this made anyone laugh then I'm happy it put a smile on your face if nothing else lol. |

That's a very quaint view of reality. Of course speech is censored. Firstly you are not free to say what you want, even in law. But most significantly and importantly the media and it's influencers choose what people are permitted to say and if they choose to make an issue of it careers and lives are ruined. That really isn't free speech. |
