Saw a similar one in the Guardian earlier. What's interesting is that they don't actually contradict Netanyahu or say that he is wrong, but rather give context to explain why his statements are disingenuous.

Oh and my religion and cultural identity is my personal business.

As I've said, plenty of Jews on both sides of the Atlantic and in Israel are completely disgusted with Netanyahu. This does not mean that they are Zionist or anti-Israel.

"

I agree wholeheartedly your religion and your beliefs are your own. I never questioned that, I was just trying to point out that just because someone's descendant held a certain belief or followed a certain religion that they too believed the same or was of the same faith.

I also agree that lots of Jews don't agree with what's going on in Israel right now. But I also agree the converse is true, there are lots of Jews that agree with this.

I have always said all loss of innocent lives is a tragedy. I've also said that I'm not necessarily agreeing with Israels tactics right now.

What I am saying is that I cannot agree with terrorism at all.

So if that makes me a 'twat' please have the courtesy to allow me to respond to your offensive comments. We don't have to agree but we should be civil.

The first paragraph doesn't make sense. What I meant was that anyone might not follow the religion or faith if their descendants. I said this due to your secular comments and that your descendant had zero interest in Israel. Read it again and you'll see it's true, I didn't even mention your name. Mrs x

This is true. Netanyahu's vitriol and campaign of misinformation has done more harm than good. People should take note.

It's true that they don't contradict Netanyahu?

But yet 'misinformation has done more harm than good'.

Those 2 statements don't really work together.

Having seen Netenyahu's speach and also looked into another post with a list of what identifies an antisemite.

aiding, or justifying the killing or harming of Jews in the name of a radical ideology or an extremist view of religion.

* Making mendacious, dehumanizing, demonizing, or stereotypical allegations about Jews as such or the power of Jews as collective — such as, especially but not exclusively, the myth about a world Jewish conspiracy or of Jews controlling the media, economy, government or other societal institutions.

* Accusing Jews as a people of being responsible for real or imagined wrongdoing committed by a single Jewish person or group, or even for acts committed by non-Jews.

* Denying the fact, scope, mechanisms (e.g. gas chambers) or intentionality of the genocide of the Jewish people at the hands of National Socialist Germany and its supporters and accomplices during World War II (the Holocaust).

* Accusing the Jews as a people, or Israel as a state, of inventing or exaggerating the Holocaust.

* Accusing Jewish citizens of being more loyal to Israel, or to the alleged priorities of Jews worldwide, than to the interests of their own nations.

* Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a State of Israel is a racist endeavor.

* Applying double standards by requiring of it a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation.

* Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism (e.g., claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize Israel or Israelis.

*Drawing comparisons of contemporary Israeli policy to that of the Nazis.

* Holding Jews collectively responsible for actions of the state of Israel."

The above list and some of its content and Netenyahu's speech I have decided that I am antisemetic

Well I expect it's the same as many Jews demonstrating against Netenyahu and what he's done.

Your candour is refreshing. If only more people could be so honest.

Which Jews do you advocate killing, and in the name of which cause?

And why do you hold Jews generally responsible for the actions of individuals?

I don't understand why any country is expected to provide food, water, fuel, medicine or anything else to the enemy that attacks them and calls for their destruction.

Great that they are trying, but they really shouldn't be obliged to.

Hamas started this, and it was Hamas who misappropriated the funds that could have helped people to thrive.

A better and or accurate would be the troubles in northern Ireland.

Should the British have used the same tactics of mass destruction and huge loss of innocent people to kill a smaller number of IRA ?

It's not even a remotely similar situation.

I'm still yet to hear any pro-pally argument from anyone who isn't uninformed in some way.

When people learn the history, and learn it properly (not from Tiktok or Facebook), then the only possible side to take is Israel's. (Unless, of course, you're clouded by prejudice).

It's a pity that he invited to talk in the USA with an abundance of support and glorification and yet little challenge on his results, nor ceasefire plans. He's been a stain on Israel and his level of support for him continuing in power at home is questionable.

Israel is like a finger in the Muslim world's eye. They don't like it.

But you have to really dig into it to understand the UN's anti-Israel bias.

But, in summary, The UN has to maintain the flow of oil.

It's a tricky and corrupt relationship that goes back to the oil crisis of 1973 and the Yom Kippur war.
