Refuses to stand down despite losing a bite of confidence. I know it's not a binding bite but come on, if this was the Tories or the lib Dems the Labour party would be howling about it wouldn't they?

If they want to maintain the illusion that the cretins in parliament are the ones making the decisions he needs to stand down. Give it a day or two, the real people who hold power will have a quiet word.

Actually, there wouldn't even need to be a point, there's a general election! He'll be gone soon enough anyway.

The general election is for the UK parliament. The Senedd is the Welsh parliament and is not due for another election until May 2026.

I think he will be gone way before 2026 if the scnedd cannot get key votes through without cooperation from other parties

It's a tricky one for the Tories given the reports that they accepted another £150 k from Frank Hester after his comments about Diane Abbott were condemned in parliament by Sunak..

I think he's toast, Githing and will go..

It looks iffy..

Sunak also said that he accepted that Frank Hester had shown contrition and apologised, and that a line should be drawn under the matter. Sunak isn't being two-faced on this particular issue.

They took the £150k after Sunak said the comments were racist and offensive..

I haven't said Sunak is two faced on this issue, I'm saying it's a tricky one for the Tories..

Maybe Sunak will just lie and that'll be ok with his base..

Yes. And after Sunak said that he accepted Hester's apology, and that we should forgive and forget.

£15.150.000 buys a lot of contrition amongst other things..
