Russia-China ties are a “stabilizing” force for the world, Russian President Vladimir Putin told his counterpart Xi Jinping during his state visit.

"I think Putin was saying they were stabilizing for the 'whole' world, not just 'their' part of it."
From a societal perspective they have increased their reach, however they seem to be destabilising at a far quicker rate now than before.
From their perspective their world is becoming more stable as their targets are becoming less so through their interference |

A few news outlets are reporting his visit 'as a cap-in-hand, give me help with supporting the war in Ukraine' If you take this view then it's hardly a meeting of equals and China knows that. |
