The front runners appear to be John Swinney and Kate Forbes. The old guard versus the new. I’m sure they will take a bashing at the next election but as long as the Tories don’t win I’ll be happy. |

Its quite the career jump from stand up comedian to leader of the government. Maybe she could use your suggestions as one of her jokes. It certainly made me laugh |

John Swinney was SNP leader from 2000 to 2004 and has served as Scotland's deputy first minister and finance minister.
