He’ll be ousted at the general election, but gained some publicity for himself - as is his wont.

I don't know a lot about them it has 3 deputy leaders.

One A train driver, also a former Labour MP & a former diplomat

I can't find any information on the number of members in the party & of course other so called left wing party's are available

Like NIP in the north & TUSC for eg.

If all these groups joined forces and perhaps the SNP joined them then a robust political movement could push the establishment.

Whatever happens we need rid of the current government first of all & the likes of George & the left can push Starmer & the blue Labour party and take them to task.

Why would the SNP join Galloway? He’s a longtime critic of Scots Indy.

Also: He’s a wanker.

Well I did say (if) these groups joined forces.

But let's face it the Lib Dems joined the Tory's for a bit of power!

Also the DUP coalition

Anything is possible in the world of politics.

My personal belief is that George Galloway's victory is a one off.

What I would like to see is an alternative to The shit we have now & are going to have with Starmer

And the SNP have travelled very far from their left wing origins.

No serious political party is ever going to join up with Galloway, more chance of the likes of Reform or that other one that begins with R, or the Conservatives.

What I would like to say is the way I differ from most people is that I don't think or vote for a party because I like the leader or the personality's in that party.

I vote on the policy's and political direction of the party's manifesto,

In short I vote for policy's not personality

I am also quite aware of how the media & newspapers manipulate news, thinks like photop, removing a poppy say or putting a Russian type hat on Corbyn as an eg to make them look bad.

My advice is to keep an open mind as I would rather be 2 or 3 grand better off voting for a party with a tool of a leader than being 2 Or 3 grand worse off voting for a party with a slick leader that I did like.

Time to tell them the 2 party system game is up and vote for something different instead.

MSM are telling us labour are the next party, i say they are programming us to vote labour.

I say vote for no one and watch their system go up in flames.

I don't think you do differ from most people. The 'you vote the way the media tell you to' is mostly just the left wing throwing their toys out of the pram when they lose.

Nope.

The reality is that most people who vote will still opt for one or the other of the two main parties.

However, the election will be one by the party that can retain their traditional vote among those who want to abstain.

Indeed. There’s a reason that companies spend so much on advertising.

He's a shape- shifter, on the outside but his moves are largely reflective of his ego, to get what he wants. The party could be jettisoned in a split second, if he found something better to serve his needs.

Let's say everyone is influenced by media.

'oh but I read a range of media!'

Mail

Telegraph

Times

Sun

Express

GB news

Talk TV

All right wing

BBC is more right wing (especially it's politics and news) than left but I'm sticking it in the middle for now along with sky news just to avoid an argument about the BBC. LBC has JOB but also king gammon Ferrari.

Left wing

The guardian and the Mirror.

So there is this massive right wing influence with a smaller left wing influence. So we have to agree if there is a media influencing is telling how to vote it's got to be telling us, on average, to vote Conservative.

People saying 'dont vote' are the same as people voting green in Sunak or Starmers constituency....well done mate you really showed them and sent a message which I am sure they will listen to.

That's a silly argument.

If we were all assigned a media outlet at birth and then not allowed to read anything else, your argument might make sense, but that's not how things work.

People are free to buy whichever paper they want, and they will buy the one that reports the news they want to hear. If a paper doesn't represent the views of its readers, they stop reading it. What this means is that there are more right wing media outlets in this country, because there are more right wing people in this country.

It's not the media telling us all what to think, it's us telling the media what to print in order to make us buy the paper.

And have you seen the polls recently? Voting intentions polls put Labour at 47%, and the Conservatives at 20%. If it's the media influencing all of us to vote Tory, they're doing a really bad job of it.

And what is it that leads you to believe that you are self-aware, rather than believing that you've been influenced into thinking that way?
