BREAKING: Prince Harry wins…
He’d have been happy if the judge had found just ONE case of phone hacking but in the end Judge rules 15 of the 33 articles were obtained by Unlawful Information Gathering by Mirror Group Newspapers from 2006 to 2011.
Any surprised? |

The other interesting thing about this is that the judge states that piers Morgan, who was then editor at the daily mirror, knew what was going on…
So we can potentially guess where all the vile at Harry and Meghan comes from….. |

Indeed, he served in the British army, married a nice girl, and stepped away from the aristocratic bullshit. Don’t see the media are so interested in this couple.
He also has in live in doubt as to whether his father had his mother and her lover assassinated. |

Morgan's doubling down on the denials, he's either a liar or was so incompetent he didn't know the origins of so many of the stories under his leadership..
The whole shoddy business is appalling across the whole sector.. |

I'm suprised the judge said Omid scobie was a reliable witness.. in this case possibly.
Historical cases have been heard and lots of others have won cases such as Gazza.
Fair do's but as pierce Morgan said.. Harry acted just as badly by branding his own family racist without any evidence plus other statements in his book.

"Pretty sure he was editor from 95-04..?
The judge said it was from 96 it began and by 98 it was widespread and common practise .."
I'm only reading articles tbf, I haven't read the judgement.
'The high court judge concluded that there was “extensive” phone hacking by the company – which publishes the Daily Mirror, the Sunday Mirror and the Sunday People – from 2006 to 2011.' |

Piers Morgan's rebuttal reminded us of the Bart Simpson quote;
"I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove anything".
Essentially though, unless there is actual evidence that is cited specifically in media we don't tend to trust what is said as its just hearsay and assertions. |

"I like Piers Morgan, I don't always agree with his views but he speaks his mind and that is a rare thing. "
Does he? I would say he mostly says stuff for maximum outrage or attention.
For example when he had the meltdown about Gregg's vegan sausage rolls. |

Piers taking on the big issues of the day. The fact that vegan sausage rolls are considered 'outrage' shows how small time he is.
'Piers Morgan has denied that he was aware of phone hacking during his time as editor of the Daily Mirror after a judge ruled that there “can be no doubt” he knew about the practice while helming the newspaper.'.
Well he denied something the judge said there was no doubt he did know about. So he did know and is possibly up for a charge of purgery.
It's magnificent that if he had just shut up about Megan about 5 years ago this wouldn't have been done. Essentially Harry has done him over like this cos Morgan couldn't get over being turned down by her. |

Fair enough. I have no opinion on Gregg's vegan sausage rolls. |

He didn't get called so no, perjury isn't an issue in this trial..
He was named in a trial in 03 by another judge in relation to must have or would have known about the unlawful practices..
He lied to the Leveson inquiry under oath if the judgement of last week stands unchallenged by him which he may try to do..
I think he'll just continue to use clever language and deny, deny, deny..
He's not alone in that industry in relation to unlawful practices.. |

you should, it is the consumption of meats and other food stuff that is a contributor to climate change. How does the vegan sausage roll stack up on ethically sourced products? Dismiss the small stuff at your peril |

You nor the judge can be sure one way or another if Morgan did or did not know about phone hacking.
It would need to go to court, for a trial and jury to decide that! The judge leaned towards the evidence of Omid Scobie, who he called a credible witness, the same person who wrote a book supporting H&M, and somehow managed to have the name of a royal accused of racism printed in the Dutch version.....
Good shout |

Haha. Good point.
I don't think Greggs products vary much between their vegan and non-vegan options on their ethics rating.
People have to find their own path to a more sustainable lifestyle though, and raging against vegan food or telling people they should only eat veggies are an equally pointless waste of energy. |
