"When was this last in the headlines? It's shameful that it's been forgotten, or wad that the plan all along?"
That bad news porn is so 2022
Tbh. It's a stale mate for the time being with bit much going on.
Russia has whay it wants.
It's solidified it's positions.
The e.u has reneged on its agreements on sanctions.
Ukraine can't afford to keep borrowing.
I assume peace talks will start at some point.

For some people it remains not just headlines, but a daily agony.
Anything other than success for Ukraine will have significant long term consequences for Europe. For that reason arms are still flowing and Russians and Ukrainians are still dying. |

Agreed... perhaps the media should be reporting it more because there's a real danger of it being forgotten and Putin keeping Ukrainian sovereign territory |

Serious consequences like what? Everyone knows that the Europeans are a joke. Proving once again in Ukraine that the West loses every war it pokes its nose into isn’t going to make any difference.
I’m doubtful if 90% of the population of the Uk, Europe, or US could even find Ukraine on a map.
The problem is that the UK and Europe have very little imagination or understanding of world affairs so they simply see everything in terms of the Second World War. Every food is another Hitler. If they don’t stop them in Libya, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Ukraine etc then the West will be next. And victory is certain because “the good guys always win”.
And when it turns into yet another disaster, as Ukraine is, the West just moves on to the next battleground that it doesn’t understand.
Ukraine is losing. Hundreds of thousands of its young men are dead, canon fodder in another failed Western intervention. |

Do you actually believe what you have written?
Did you notice that Russia undertook a full land invasion of Ukraine in Feb last year?
Do you know that Vladimir Putin regards the collapse of the Soviet Union as a mistake that needs correcting?
How does permitting Putin to take control of a Sovereign nation by force do anything to enhance peace and security in the east of Europe?
You seriously must be watching some pretty full-on conspiracy channels to not see the strategic issues in play here. |

Everyone else is sending token appreciation for what the Ukrainians are doing. Poland increased their GDP for defense. They are going to be like a little European Texas. This is why I disagree and a lot of others about funding Ukraine. Some of the richest nations shouldn't be relying on the US. I prefer Israel to be the focus for the US. Not Ukraine. You all don't need us to take care of your own backyard. Europe can stand on its own. |

It's a slow war, as expected. It will take time to get through fotifications and mine fields. The ironic good news is that Russia can't remember where they placed them, making harder for them to take ground. Ukraine is a massive country, it will take time to get it air cover, once it does then they can concentrate on hitting russians within its border making it hard for russian occupiers. They'll win in their own time, and the west are using Ukraine and that time wisely to weaken the russian military and the build up their own armed forces.

Ukraine has been killing its own people in the Donbas from 2014,
banned russian language which is what the people of Donbas use.
They have been promoting
anti russian propaganda in schools for decades
The west is funding a war they know Ukraine cant win but what do they care for the Ukraines that are being slaightered in there thousands.
I dont watch mainstream goverment propaganda media
No doubt most will think im mad but i see putin as the good guy in this who was forced into this conflict by western influences
Recently watched an interview whith the hungarian prime minister was asked what it would take to revolve this and he simply answered donald trump.
The open corruption and wars being played out at present in my opinion the world needs trump
Que the insults |

Russia post-Gorbachev had the opportunity to become a strong, leading democracy/economy. Instead it allowed itself to become entrenched in jealousy and embarrassment following the Cold War and since then some in its fringes fixate on a return to the soviet era.
The Berlin Wall is a fantastic example of what happens when you let things go and actually move forward, it’s a shame Russia didn’t follow the same route, instead their actions have encouraged neutrally aligned nations, Finland and Sweden, to apply for NATO membership. |

Que the insults" Being a Trump supporter. Our goal is to not be involved in European issues. You see how the Israeli Hamas conflict is playing out. " Blame America". Where did the march end today? US embassy. Its time for us to take up a isolationist policy like Trump suggested. Most of Europe hates the US anyways. So be on your own. Hopefully it happens. So yea I voting for Trump. Get us out of this insanity. We are willing to watch the world burn and then stand back and pick through the ashes. |

Absolutly hope trump gets back in
They way they are constantly going after him for me shows how worried they are as he does not play by their roles
I also hope trump stops America from interfering in other countries affairs
However i belive if they do ther would be no fires to burn as America are the ones starting the fires. War and regime change makes your elites very wealthy |

The problems in Europe is a European problem. It's not a American issue. I shouldn't have to pay for your problems. When we are disliked. As far as I am concerned you all can be on your own. If you want that alternative have at it. |

I have absolutely no issue with american people. It's your goverments I strongly dislike, equally feel the same about the British governments who are americas lap dogs. We are all getting feed BS and drained of our incomes for the privilege.
I pray trump can get past their witch hunt on him as the world will be in a better place if he has that seat |

It will make people realize not to be dependent on others. We are a young country Compared to the rest of the world. You all our problems. |

"Clearly will fund Israel . But Ukraine is a issue."
Why do you think that the US should keep independent of conflict in Europe, but should still get involved in the middle East?
Surely an isolationist USA should stay clear of all conflicts that don't immediately threaten it's borders? |

Let Israel and the Arab countries Finally finish this conflict. There might be nothing left. But at least it would be over with. |
