Hi guys, I know that many of us feels the same away about the direction of our country today. None of the current political party doesn't represent us, therefore we're politically homeless. I've decided to do something about it instead of moaning all the time on social media and elsewhere. This is not a one man battle and we all needed to come together and get these alot out of parliament at the next election. They've divided us enough already just to rule and fully aware that we'll never join force to get them out. Please close your eyes for a minute and don't look at the messenger but I ask of you to received the message because enough is enough. We need everyone's support with that said the floor is now open.

I’d say if we had PR it might be worth the effort. But with FPTP you won’t achieve anything. Better off joining a major party and trying to change it from the inside (think ERG or Momentum).

First we need to know where you stand and what your policies are.

I genuinely think Sunak & Starmer are taking us back towards the middle ground, I'm comfortable there.

With unlimited funding, it could be worthwhile. But, as others state, the current system probably means that a new party would be somewhat invisible and unlikely to gain seats.

What specific policies would you have?

the trouble with loads of smaller parties is they tend to split the vote & let the existing parties carry on regardless

First of all you cannot join the current party and make any changes. You people don't really know that you have the power and how to used it. Just remember that we're the voters that put them there and if enough of us vote against them then they'll be out. So never under estimate people power. We can do this because all those party start somewhere and grow. For all I know you could be a very good MP because it can't get any worse than these lot presently in Parliament now.

I have some policies already but it's not a dictatorship so we need everyone's help to sort that out. So your help is needed and please do not think that you have nothing to contribute because everyone is valuable.

I am sorry to hear that you're comfortable with these lot. Wish I could say the same but I can't. Hence I'm trying to do something about it and not just take it. If no one stand up then no changes will come.

I would support policies that prioritise people over corporations. Environment over profits. Making further and higher education more accessible giving people better opportunities to progress in life.

That kind of thing.

Policy wise I believe in a fair society and we don't have. The rich is getting richer on the backs of hard working people. The NHS is deliberately running in the ground in order to privatisation. Big cooperation and other Countries are profiteering off our energy leaving customers out of pocket. Ofwat, ofgem all of them are off the scale. They're not fit for purpose and working for the big cooperations and not in customers interested. I can go on but this space is too small. Guys let's make history, let's protect our future, our children and their children future we all have a part so let's play it well.

The best bet by far is to join an established party, get involved and argue from within.

Even very well funded new parties don’t have any great impact - think cUK.

Just a thought. How did the Labour Party started. Is it by joining the Conservative Party or start from scratch just wondering?

Right we’re in. What happens next?

A little worried about the future media interest in our political party...”how did the founding members of your party meet?”

They formed in 1900 when there was one other party. Now there's a dozen in the HoC. We don't need more parties diluting the non- Tory vote. We need sensible people joining their closest (politically) party, and contributing from within.

Great idea, one problem though are you sure you will be able to agree on a name for this new party.

Just so you know

To stand for election, you'll need to be nominated by at least 10 electors from the constituency you wish to represent. You also need to pay a £500 deposit which you get back if you get more than 5% of the total votes in your constituency.

The Parliament of the United Kingdom currently has 650 parliamentary constituencies across the constituent countries (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland), each electing a single member of parliament (MP) to the House of Commons by the plurality (first past the post) voting system, ordinarily every five ...

So you would need £325,000 just to start with that's without printing cost so would need to raise about £1 million to start a party that is why politics in th UK is so fucked.
