It does feel that way, doesn't it ?
Johnson is an usurper, through and through. He makes providence of political opportunity to weaken others.
This smells of the ERG cabal staging a coup to de-power Sunak.
The next step is to see off the threat of the report, then reinstate Johnson as an MP elsewhere once this has all blown over. Then he will make his move for PM again. |

She could just see the writing on the wall of the next election and has got wind of a better job offer? Try not to read too much into it. How much of your thinking is being lead by media suggestions that 'it could be to weaken Sunak'. Look at public opinion of the Conservatives, he's already weak. |
