I would like to understand a point on this post:
Boris refers to himself as Boris, that is his preference.
Is calling him Alex disrespectful to him, would you do this to others who wish to be referred to as something other than what they were named at birth?

His name is Alexander, I don’t know him, so Boris is over familiar . His lawyers got the information from the cabinet office and then passed it onto the police |

"I think Johnson deserves all the disrespect he gets and more.... I'm definitely sure you could find a better cause to champion. "
He still has his ‘supporters’, they are dwindling though |

"Let's be honest they are more like a cult... “Bring back Boris" whilst totally ignoring he's the architect of the current mess we are in. "
There's very few on here that are part of any 'cult' and even less supporters of Boris. |

His lawyers are disputing the claims.
The Civil Service informed the police, as they have a statutory duty to do so.

I done a tally chart of all the people who regularly stick up for him. The results were pretty much as I thought |

1 in 10? But you have to admit what they lack in numbers they make up for in absolute blind loyalty to good old spaffer. Hence my cult observation. |

I know your mind us made up, it's why you get involved in hating 'right wingers', as I said blind loyalty happens in favour of a number of people/issues.

Oh you are being very touchy for someone who's chilled and I never claimed to be intelligent.
I'm just a guy that's sick of this current government (and thinks Trump is a horror of a human) if that makes me a rightwing hater so be it.
And as for blind loyalty? no chance of that when it comes to politics. They are all detached from reality and the ordinary man on the street i fear.
Care to insult me some more?? I wasn't in anyway aggressive or challenging to you. If this is you chilled I'd hate to see you grumpy sweeetpea lol |

Did I insult? And you say I'm touchy?
I'm always chilled on these forums, people mistake me for getting touchy but that couldn't be further from the truth, this is just a way to kill some time for me.
Anyway back to Boris. He has very very little loyalty round here, I see you tried to use 'call him by his proffered name' as some sort of 'you're defending him' to another poster |

I'm glad you asked... Forcing through a “oven ready“ hard brexit that is by anyone's standard's a shambles.
Creating a cabinet that has absolutely no serious politicians in it.. When he went truss/kwarteng coming in has added hundreds to my mortgage and cost the economy was it 57 billion?.
And finally his constant lies have created serious distrust in not only politics but with experts in general. |

Not sure if he’s ‘the architect’ - but he’s certainly one of the largest pieces of the puzzle. From his Brexit lies to his Covid incompetence. |

He wasn't the architect of Brexit though, was he? He was a PM who was voted in by labour voters to get Brexit done.
Cummings and Farage were the Architects, Johnson was the puppet. |

Odd thing to take issue with? I wouldn’t call him Boris as that is designed to make him seem all likeable and harmless (he is neither). I wouldn’t call him Alex either. I would call him a cunt though! |

You actually believe that?
One he was the figure head for the leave campaign, two he orchestrated the ousting of May. Three it was him calling it “his oven ready“ deal. Four he was totally bullish about it being a hard brexit.. Next you are going to blame wokeness for it being a disaster.. Just embarrassing.
Its very telling that you don't try and defend his awful cabinet legacy or lies. |

Isn't that what debating is having a persuasive argument ?.
And you asked me how he was the architect so i replied to you.
And the anger would be how the current government has not invested anything into this country for over a decade. Its a disgrace. |

"I would like to understand a point on this post:
Boris refers to himself as Boris, that is his preference.
Is calling him Alex disrespectful to him, would you do this to others who wish to be referred to as something other than what they were named at birth?
His name is Alexander, I don’t know him, so Boris is over familiar . His lawyers got the information from the cabinet office and then passed it onto the police
His lawyers are disputing the claims.
The Civil Service informed the police, as they have a statutory duty to do so.
"
His lawyers found the ‘incriminating’ evidence, without these lawyers it would have remained as it was |

"It looks like Alex is in hot water again, referred to the police over potential covid breaches by his own lawyers "
Well surprise, surprise I would of never have thought that he would such a thing..... Again.
Now I hear that he intends to sue the cabinet office, well I hope he will use his own money and not taxpayers as he has with his latest party gate inquiry. |

I'm getting huge amounts of schadenfreude from the fact if he hadn't been his sponging self and paid for his own defence they couldn't of said anything. Warms the cockles of my heart so it does. |

He won’t be doing that, it was his own lawyers that highlighted the evidence, the cabinet office are duty bound to hand it to the police’s |

"Let's be honest they are more like a cult... “Bring back Boris" whilst totally ignoring he's the architect of the current mess we are in.
How is he the architect?
I'm glad you asked... Forcing through a “oven ready“ hard brexit that is by anyone's standard's a shambles.
Creating a cabinet that has absolutely no serious politicians in it.. When he went truss/kwarteng coming in has added hundreds to my mortgage and cost the economy was it 57 billion?.
And finally his constant lies have created serious distrust in not only politics but with experts in general.
He wasn't the architect of Brexit though, was he? He was a PM who was voted in by labour voters to get Brexit done.
Cummings and Farage were the Architects, Johnson was the puppet."
Cummings knew that Farage had to be kept out of the media as much as possible. What gains Farage won amongst small-minded bigots, he lost further in ‘regular’ eurosceptics.
Tim Shipman’s books are good on this topic - data analysis suggests that if leave.eu had won the official ‘leave’ designation, remain would have won the referendum. |

Cummings was instrumental in Brexit, he swayed the vote in favour of leave by understanding the language of leave voters and who they actually were. That was the difference in my opinion and what made him the architect of brexit

Yes, everything that would resonate with the target leave voter and more importantly those sitting on the fence. Those slogans were designed by him and were effective in deployment.
Johnson was managed by him for years, and when Johnson removed him his troubles began.
Cummings put him in the driving seat, and took him out of it. |

Strange how Cummings’ Russian connections have all been hushed up! |

"Working outside in cheers...the horror.
Seems like it's the same scenario as when he and Cummings were in the garden.
Just poppa and Paul getting their partners to drum something up"
He is finished |

If he was. There'd be no need for this story. |

You must be pleased you can put this to bed! Where will you retrain your focus now?
Braverman is my bet because as weak as Sunak is in your eyes he has cleared out most of deadwood, but I think you might have been preoccupied to notice |
