"Donald Trump says he could end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours and millions believe him. But he won’t say how he would do it and if he did, he could altruistically save tens of thousands of lives starting today. No, he wants simple people to believe that there are simple solutions to complex problems. It’s Trump, it’s Brexit - it’s all about playing with the minds of the hard of thinking." If we put forth our full military might it would be over in a day. We keep people in reserve to fight multiple theaters of operations. If we bear down on one target how do you think that will play out ? It's been over a year for Russia. That's like any conflict . We do not go full retard. We keep reserves to fight any other flareup.

I truly think he has a chance at winning. His strong points are economy and petrol prices which dipped at the end of his mandate, but tanked under Biden. Did you see how people laughed at his explanation of 'grab em by the pussy' quote? He had that audience eating out of his hand!

I gotta admit, his sass was right on this zinger haha I actually believe he's going to stop the war and bring them both to the table. All he has to do is cut off the money/supply. I'm seeing an increasing number of seemingly American accounts on social media commenting about their disgruntlement with billions going to Ukraine. "Donald Trump is a sexual assault offender" You can't legally say that. He was found to be liable for sexual assault in a civil court, but there has been no criminal trial, so he can't be described as an offender. You can continue to describe him as 'offensive' however, there's no problem there.

"Gosh I thought there might be a topic from the OP then which didn't mention Brexit, but no! Just blew it at the end. All these simpletons with their single issue world view. Though I suppose you do have two (Brexit and Trump) so maybe your perspective is more complex than it superficially appears. As for Ukraine, sure just carry on with that war mongering. "The thing with Trump is Americans love a underdog story. They keep stacking everything against him and he still going. Expecialy now with the economy the way it is it is helping him. The blame Biden rehtoric is working because the economy is horrible." I think Trump's chances of winning in 2024 are increasing by the day. It's clear Biden just doesn't have the physical or mental acuity to be President. His inability to string a sentence together and clear mental malfunctions that he suffers regularly on camera are very worrying and it's bizarre that his family let him carry on. One answer to that of course are the revelations about his family's dodgy financial activities and influence peddling that the MSM and Big Tech managed to hide at the last election but won't be able to again. Too many people now know about the foreign payments to shell companies that have been circulating around the Biden Crime Family. But given how wide the financial tentacles spread within his family, they need to keep the "Big Guy" in place so the money keeps rolling in. And as for Ukraine we have been told for over a year now that Ukraine is winning. But still the war goes on. I doubt Americans have got the stomach after Afghanistan for another decades long war that they really have no strategic interest in, that they will probably end up losing anyway. I suspect that Trump's anti war message will increasingly resonate as the war drags on to no end.

"The thing with Trump is Americans love a underdog story. They keep stacking everything against him and he still going. Expecialy now with the economy the way it is it is helping him. The blame Biden rehtoric is working because the economy is horrible. It is not just the US that loves the underdog. The more that gets piled onto him the more support he will pick up. Silence is Trumps worst nightmare I do agree somewhat. It's the same with all the professional trolls like Piers Morgan, Katie Hopkins etc. Ignore them and they go away. It's sad state of affairs though, that the more his sexual assaults are brought to light, the more people support him. Maybe he should commit more sexual assaults to get even more support, the US loves a sexual predator (apparently) The guy above you agrees. Sad times for the women of America if their country votes in a sec pest as leader. "Donald Trump is a sexual assault offender You can't legally say that. He was found to be liable for sexual assault in a civil court, but there has been no criminal trial, so he can't be described as an offender. You can continue to describe him as 'offensive' however, there's no problem there." Actually… yes you can… You can say that a jury of his peers found that there was a probability due to the preponderance of evidence shown that he committed a sexual offence against E Jean Carroll… therefore he is a sex offender… We laugh.. well some laugh… but those people are your mothers, and daughters, and aunts, and nieces….

" He hasn't committed any criminal "offence" therefore technically he cannot be an "offender". This was a purely civil claim which has a much lower burden of proof. Which is why of course no criminal prosecution will be brought against him, as he will never get convicted of anything. He will appeal no doubt. It's highly unlikely that Trump can get a fair trial in the US, and certainly not in a place like Manhattan where he only got 12% of the vote and the rich liberals all hate him.

"Donald Trump says he could end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours and millions believe him. But he won’t say how he would do it and if he did, he could altruistically save tens of thousands of lives starting today. He would end the rest by simply not finding Ukraine. Where USA stands NATO normally follows. This would force Ukraine to make peace terms with Russia. However unfortunately this would not be done from a position of strength. No, he wants simple people to believe that there are simple solutions to complex problems. It’s Trump, it’s Brexit - it’s all about playing with the minds of the hard of thinking."

He hasn't committed any criminal "offence" therefore technically he cannot be an "offender". This was a purely civil claim which has a much lower burden of proof. Which is why of course no criminal prosecution will be brought against him, as he will never get convicted of anything. He will appeal no doubt. It's highly unlikely that Trump can get a fair trial in the US, and certainly not in a place like Manhattan where he only got 12% of the vote and the rich liberals all hate him." No… the reason it’s wasn’t a criminal case is that the statute of limitations on a sexual battery case in New York State is 10 years! What happened is because of the various cases of historical sexual assault that was made much more aware in the light of “me too” the New York State legislature put into law a “1 year window” where victims of historical sexual assault could go back and sue their attackers civilly… and to give E Jean Carroll her credit, literally within 30 minutes of the amended law going into effect, she filed papers in New York State Court! I hate the “he isn’t going to get a fair trial!” Argument because you are giving him a free pass.. he was convicted by 6 men and 3 women and for E Jean Carroll to win her case the decision has to be unanimous! If he wants to say it wasn’t a fair trial he would have a much better argument if he put up a defence (spoiler… he didn’t!) he could have appeared ( spoiler….. he said he would, judge called his bluff and gave him an extension to do so, he decided not to appear) he could have given a better disposition (in which he put his foot so far down his mouth I am not surprised if he is shitting shoe for the next month!) He could have laid something in the final words to the jury (spoiler… he didn’t!) She went on the stand and was cross examined for 3 days…. He was on a golf course! If he doesn’t want to have the case in Manhattan don’t commit the offence in Manhattan! And I hope that she sues him again for defamation.. because he is still saying what he did to get him into trouble… she can rightly go back to the judge and say he hasn’t stopped…. And this time there would be a multiplier attached

Actually… yes you can… You can say that a jury of his peers found that there was a probability due to the preponderance of evidence shown that he committed a sexual offence against E Jean Carroll… therefore he is a sex offender… We laugh.. well some laugh… but those people are your mothers, and daughters, and aunts, and nieces…. America will be a scary place for women if they vote in a convicted sex criminal as president. I think the more important part is that Trump is a convicted sex criminal, more so than the type of court case. But still. I can make sure to specify if that helps? Typical straw-clutching leftie comment. He has NOT been convicted of a criminal offence. End of. Why are only lefties opposed to sexual assault? This thread is getting weirder and weirder I'm not sure participants in a political forum pointing out that referring to someone as a criminal when they have not been convicted of a crime may well be libellous means that they are in favour of sexual assault. Simply that they may prefer a little more specificity and a little less libel. " Good point Magnus Gallus. It was a civil case and he was found "liable". Now can we also stop refering to Prince Andrew as a peodophile?

"The more government throws at him the more it's going to be in his favor. People honestly don't give a shit about the civil suit. People win or lose them all the time. People remember 1 thing. The economy. Do you honestly think that civil suit matters when people are struggling ? They are desperate for anything to lower costs. Including reel ecting Trump. They don’t care that he is a sex pest? I thought the president was a meant to be a ‘respectable ‘ person? " hahahahahahaha oh your serious about leaders being respectable people, they wouldnt of made it to the top job if they were respectable, dear me i thought u was an expert on how politics work... "I've not read the entire thread. But if Trump knows how to stop the war he should do so immediately regardless of his position. If he can help save lives then they should come before his own political career. If he can and does then perhaps he deserves a second go at pres. But as I think it's just bollocks he won't and can't." Apparently he has to stop the war in-front Of Penn & Teller, if they can't work out how he's done it he becomes President for life. .

"Best outcome for the world and the U.S? Elect Trump again The world and our country were in a much better position a few years ago. I absolutely hated Trump when he was first elected I don't think the US would be better off for women with a sexual assault enthusiast being in charge. And the rest of the world would be fucked, he doesn't understand climate change and thinks that science isn't real. He was a fucking disaster the first time around. And seems even more insecure and hateful nowadays. Removing the Capitol nonsense out of this for the sake of conversation, what was disastrous about his term? He egged on racists, and seemed to be aligned with the alt-right and their agenda of hate. He removed the US from the paris climate agreement He reduced the US's standing on the world stage. Wouldn't accept he lost the election, tried to undermine democracy and he encouraged people to riot. He said Mexicans were "r4pists". He sexually assaulted women. He stacked the judiciary with people who think women shouldn't have rights over their own bodies. Stoked culture wars to further divide the country He rolled back 100s of environmental protections. He moved the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. Causing more destabilisation. He defended charity causes that help women. Spunked millions of $$ on a pointless wall. If the American people felt they had a better life in terms of finance when he was president then he'll get the plaudits for that. Just as if they were worse he'll be blamed for it.
