"And?"
Isn't Johnson worried about Ukraine's sovereignty then? Or their future economic prospects? Since we all know how terrible it is to be in the EU, naturally. |

China gives aid to countries as they know the subsequent trade is good for the Chinese economy. They then exploit that investment. The EU understands the principal and does it in a more friendly inclusive way. The UK attitude is it’s my money and I don’t need trade partners to grow my economy. Narrow minded blind and as short term as ever.
Oh for an intelligent government and grown up truthful media.
Go for it Ukraine. Membership positives massively outweigh any negatives. Boris has known this all along. |

A week or so ago, he was disclosing private conversations with Putin (Not that I mind, I believe all work leader conversations should be publicised in the interests of honesty and transparency), and a week later he's calling for Ukraine to join the EU.
Either he is making noise as part of a "comeback", or he's just stirring trouble. Probably a bit of both. That is the measure of the man, and to think some people voted for him. (Which also is a measure of them too). |
