This has just been put out there by Sunak's spokesman. So I guess that means Williamson is on his way out...

I never understood why the full confidence line seems to be code for: sacking/forced resignation imminent. But it tends to play out that way.

Just going to say, look at every Conservative MP that's resigned who at first, had full confidence of the PM.

It's to buy time for the resignation letter to arrive.
