She seems very credible, calming and sincere to me? However, she’s constantly overlooked / not taken as a serious contender when she’s actually held 9 ministerial positions and is NOT a divisive figure. Has real life, working class experience and is capable of uniting people. I hope she gets on the ballot at least. There’s over 140 BJ votes and undeclared MP’s still deciding… she’s in with a chance still. Also, would be nice to have a good looking woman with great hair in charge lol

Give it time, the masses won't know of or have seen much of her yet. Once they do... Well things will be as they always have been

They don’t all have to “decide”. First hurdle is not a vote of all of them. 100 have to nominate her and MPs don’t have to nominate anyone. What is this 140 BJ votes anyway? He didn’t have 140 nominating him.

"Her behaviour in parliament last week.

The same could be said for Rishi Sunak or Borris Johnson. Anyone noticed the behaviour of the male politicians is forgiven and forgotten much more easily than that of the women.

If she had been a he, he would have still broken parliamentary protocol and has nothing to do with sex.

You don't repeat a derogatory question from the opposition, she damned well knew she was running a knife into Truss's back - and did it twice to step on her.

They are all snakes but given no choice, Rishi is the only one we stand any kind of chance with, until we get to an election.

golden fields

Anything positive she will bring to the table will be completely snuffed out.

She had to retract her previous comments in support of the trans community and promise she wasn't woke to stay in the leadership contest last time around.

Totally disagree, she held her position very well in Parliament last week,

Hopefully Rishi will win, and it would be a very good gesture on Rishi if he made Penny his No.2

She'll withdraw before the deadline, in all likelihood soundings from her close supporters are already going on with Sunaks camp about her future after today..

It’s a nailed on coronation for Sunak. The process is just a sideshow.

Agree, doesn't bode well for her to prolong it to a point where he has well more than the majority which he's just reached..

Her sat there on 30 as two pm approaches with him on 300 only looks stupid and that it's about her own ego..

Stabbed Truss in the back for her own political gain.

Ever come across the term..

"The Smiling Assassin"

Completely against protocol to repeat an harmful question in parliament to put the opposition in better standing - at Truss's expense.

In case anybody can't be bothered with that video it was the "She is not under a desk" comment. If only Penny Mordaunt hadn't said that then all would have been fine for Liz Truss. Yeah right. Such a weird take on events.
