Tory Competence in choosing

It does make you think, that the tories have made extremely terrible decisions in these past 12 years.

Has any decision made the country better?

It been a case of fiscally starve the country though austerity, then binge on borrowing though “levelling up”, now back to fiscal starvation through austerity.

Yo-yo diets are not good, and it seems clear that the tories are doing that, figuratively speaking.

I don’t know what the rest of the week holds, the tories have choices to make.

But one thing seems clear. The current party in power isn’t fit to rule this country. It’s better to let the country decide now through an election, because whichever leader the tories decide to install will only prolong the turmoil in the markets, whereas I suspect with a change of government the effects of this crisis would be minimised greatly as it would stabilise markets quicker.

Or do the tories put power before the people, and senna us straight to hell? Thoughts?

If think a Sunak - Hunt pairing will calm the markets and avert economic meltdown, which would be the result otherwise.

We're not going to like what they're going to do to avoid that meltdown and I doubt there is any chance of the Tories winning the next GE whenever it's called in the next 2 and a bit years. However a GE now would leave Stammer and co. having to clear this mess up and take the flack for the horrible decisions that are going to have to be made to do so. Best leave Sunak & Hunt to it.
