There now seems to be a possibility that he might be a pm, he is now flying to the uk and I think that he will need 100 votes, does that mean if he gets that he will be a pm, or how does it work?  |

for gods sake no .we had the complete lunatic as pm once and he proved what a complete prat he is .if the tories make him pm again this country will hit an even greater low on the world stage than we are today  |

Surely you know how it works. They've been discussing it none stop on the news 24/7.
Candidate needs 100 mps to support him or her, to go into ballot. Tory members vote from the candidates chosen by the mps. |

Surely you know how it works. They've been discussing it none stop on the news 24/7.

They have no morals though. They'll vote in whoever they think will win them the next General Election. Atm that has to be Boris. Anyone else and the next government will be a Labour one and then we're really f****d |

are we not really f*cked allready .the current problems we have and there are many were created by the conservative government who care for nobody but themselves and the rich.we have had 12 years of pain under this government do you want another five yrs ?????

There is Zero chance of the Conservatives winning the next election regardless who they choose as leaders. However if they choose a Sunak, with Hunt, leadership they may only be in opposition for one or two terms. If they choose Johnson there will be no conservative party left by new year. That's the choice. |

The timetable is that nominations will close at 2pm tomorrow… if there are 3 contenders, mps will vote between 3 and 6, announced at 7 with the lowest one being eliminated
2 will go to the members to vote online on Wednesday and Thursday… winner announced on Friday
Interesting thing is there is talk of 2 tv debates.. 1 Tuesday and Wednesday.. but I don’t think that has been confirmed yet |

Yes he was and the only way she won was cos of the members voted for her, it seems that the members have the final say rather than who won the votes? |

She won because they saw the MP’s manoeuvring Sunak into the top 2 positions and against someone who they thought the members would not vote for. It was a protest vote

There was a phone call to LBC yesterday by a Tory member. He had a different explanation on why, he and 80% of the Tory members he knew, didn't and couldn't vote for Rishi Sunak. |
