Some may recall that on Thursday, 29/10/2022 at, about 10-50 am I posted a thread about Liz Truss aka Lettuce Truss. The title ic the the C word and was subsequently removed. In that thread a freelance reporter friend of mine advised me that Truss will be making a statement at "1-30" and she did just that.
Re Jeremy Hunt, my mates understanding is that Jeremy Hunt will keep his job if one of the fav three become PM. The question they will ask and demand an answer is.
Question: Liz Truss stated in PMQ's on Wed 28/10/2022 that that "pensions triple rock is to remina." Jeremey Hunt did not object at the time, or follwing that statement as previously the gov was citing nothing had been decided. If the triple lock is not set at the inflation rate and Truss did this without the authorisation of Hunt, why did he not say so straight after or in the following hours of Lettuce Truss being froced to sack herself?

Apols - I will re-write when this subject is discussed again on, near 31/10/22
Pensions Triple Lock - Lettuce Truss stated it was guaranteed in PMQ's and Hunt agreed. Therefore, if it not the case, why did Hnu not say so.

Not sure what you are say.
We have private pensions and nearing state pension age.
We have worked all of our lives and we know the only way out od this mess is raise taxes, cutt public spending and cut triple lock.
To be clear, Truss butted in on Wed/PMQ's to guarantee the triple lock - if that is not the case then Hunt has question to answer ie if it had not been agreed why did he not say so. |
