The idiots in Westminster and Whitehall just need to do their jobs. 93,000 civil servants were supposed to be getting the boot, what happened with that?

GE but with proportional representation. More cross party cooperation and less in fighting.

I think for now we need to get through this Winter. All up for general election in the Spring though.

Absolutely not.

Tories would breeze another GE.

"New" old or even a GE is not good for the UK atm.

I've never voted, not once as none are fit for the purpose.

I may be cynical and rightly or wrongly I feel that if I voted for our local idiot they'd lie, lie and lie again to get into parilaiment and then stay there and lie and lie and lie and lie and lie.

Anyone that want to tell me that I can't complain etc and I should vote or not complain are the types that fall for the lies of these jokers.

At the end of the day they are in it for theirsleves and if anyone thinking differently, then you have my sympathies.

West London

I like the idea of a general election and getting rid of this group of people in power.

However, months of campaigning, nobody dealing with the crisis and markets pricing in an uncertainty premium are all very unappealing.

So, keeping my fingers crossed that Sunak will be competent and dull and not destroy what's left of the public sector...
