Did the Privileges Committee ever finish the inquiry into Boris Johnson?
If not is there not a significant risk should the Conservative MPs elect him leader again that they will need to shortly need to elect yet another leader? |

He is due to appear next month. They are still collating evidence. Yes the risk is significant. The Tories are mental even considering letting him stand again (and many are complete hypocrites) |

"Did the Privileges Committee ever finish the inquiry into Boris Johnson?

Expect the usual right wing attacks in the MSM about bias and woke etc |

There is a risk Johnson becomes PM again then is found guilty of a resigning offence v shortly afterwards. Then the Tories would have to v quickly polish another turd before ramming them into office.
I think there are far more likely way this'll play out though. (If the Tories are stupid enough to install BJ again.)
They'll either shut down the inquiry. Or delay it to an astonishing degree. Or they just won't release the findings. Or if they cn't stop the findings coming out + they're damning, they will say eg who cares?/it's old news/there's more important things to be worrying about.

If true, and if the above okays out, this will be leaked.
They would need a good plan to stop the report. I've heard mention of a thre line whip ///
This will cause resignations or loss of whip. Some Tory MPs have character. |
