It is 2019 conservative manifesto policy (Johnson’s) that they would not bring it back So we know Liz wants to change it… we know that in one of the awful bbc local radio interviews (I think it was bbc radio Lancashire) she was tripped up on it! So in an opposition day debate labour suggest that it should be banned The response… conservatives are going to made their own mps vote against it…. They have imposed a hard 3 line whip… which means anyone who votes against or abstains, will have the whip removed (would not in theory be a Tory mp, and be part of the parliamentary party until further notice) They have turned the fracking vote into a vote of confidence in the Liz truss government… At 7 we will see how many have rebelled " Interesting stuff. She worked for Shell and took donations from BP. So it's no surprise she's going in hard representing the interests of the fossil fuels industry. | |||
