The current ruling party in the UK, headed by Liz Truss, has done a u-turn, which has eroded the entire country's faith in government and politics; and provoked extreme anxiety amongst millions who are dependent on the extra cash originally promised to get them through these crises.
What a shambles the party of Conservatives has just created; Liz Truss is now finished as a leader whom people can trust! |

"If the government decided not to honour the state pension triple lock and uprating in benefits that will bring down the government by itself! "
Political suicide for a party whom many grey voters side with, the commitment today just heaps more pressure on other areas.. |

No, but that's an easy hit for the Tories who think anyone on benefits irregardless is fair game.. |

The Conservative party is beginning to implode; a process that is going to accelerate over the next week.
Boris is a blusterer, but he did have charisma; Liz Truss is way out of her depth, and sinking rapidly

It is no surprise that the 1922 Committee instructed Liz Truss to resign, in order to attempt the fast fading reputation of the Conservative Party, which has hit rockbottom.
Nationally and abroad, the British economy is sinking fast: prior to Brexit the UK economy was 90% of the German economy, but that has slipped precipitously to 70%, and will fall even further.
Brexit and Conservative policies have been an unmitigated omnishambles! |
