There were alot of large protests around major Cities over the weekend regarding fuel poverty, low wages etc.

Not one major news channel reported this at all. Nothing on the news.

We are being controlled by the media.

Why do they not want us to know about these protests?

BBC News - Protests held over climate crisis and energy rises

No idea what else is out there. My reading tends to be dictated by BBC, FT, and Reddit links.

Maybe the media thought enough was enough.

Is it not supposed to be the job of the media to report on what's going on, regardless of their opinion of it?

Widely reported just not as much as you would like.

What do you want cover across all channels 24/7 ?

Yet many sheep cite the very same media as 'holding people to account'. They're part of a system, always have been and always will be.

Maybe people are sick of middle class kids vandalising fortnum& mason and the like, in the name of protests and actual worthy protests aren’t being taken seriously as a result?
