"Apparently a former Tory minister has claimed letters have already been sent in. If true, Truss is on track to break some sort of record."
You think Rishi would have better things to do than keep writing letters..... |

Fucking well hope so. Bunch of criminals that are not even attempting to hide their actions of bankrupting the country to make themselves and their friends even more needlessly rich. It is beyond betrayal of the people. The conservative government has now become a force that is actively and deliberately destroying the United Kingdom and everyone that lives here other than their tiny chosen elite. In seven days they have done more damage than any terrorist organisation could do in decades. |

I thought Truss was gonna be a shit PM, but I didn't guess she'd be this shit this fast.
The pound is in freefall. She's managed to piss off the majority of UK voters with a budget that gives a shitload of money to the rich during a cost of living crisis. And a yougov poll shows Labour now has the biggest lead ever over the Tories in their polling history.
And all this right at the start of her honeymoon period.
Slow hand clap...

Sometimes the honeymoon period is short lived. If the letters are being written, it’s not long now. |

Like the worst ever review of a leadership team in place for 15 days..
The daily he'll blaming greedy traders, Bridgen blaming the BOE for not putting up interest rates when we were still in the pandemic..
Straws are being clutched.. |

"Incidentally, a certain poster who likes horses and hay has gone ominously quiet. Again! Looking forward to some new material defending these bozos!"
Maybe the penny has dropped, albeit with less impact as it's not as heavy as it was last week.. |

He will be waiting for the defence lines to be spouted by the Express and Mail and then he will be here propagating the same lines.

Tbh, Truss is stealing all is best comedy material.
Best one I have heard that's she's yet to tell ..
I'd tell you a joke about trickle down economics .. but 99% of you won't get it. |

whah whah whah oldie but goldie.
This tax cut approach is a last ditch throw of the get rich dice by a government devoid of original thought and out of ideas who know they are running out of time. |

"Hopefully she'll be gone by Christmas when mps realise they will lose their seats at an election"
I doubt they'll boot her out so fast. The saga with Johnson shows they cling onto toxic leaders for far too long. But it's astonishing there is already serious anger + talk of no confidence letters. Normally, they'd all be lying through their teeth + saying how great a shiny new leader is at this point. |

Don't forget most of them didn't vote for her. |

We have some friends who are so Tory they are blind to everything else.
We had errrmmm a heated discussion recently,he is still blaming the countries predicament on the last Labour government claiming that all of the problems we are in now are because of what they did whilst in power.
We had to change the discussion before it turned into a full blown argument!! |

"I believe she gets a years grace before anything can be done with no confidence letters.
Only another Eleven and a half months to go!
"
The problem with that is: they won't wanna swap leaders in the run up to an election. After a year of Truss, then a campaign process to get a new leader, the next election would be getting dangerously close |

Unless she massively improves, who on earth would vote for her? |

The same people who voted for her to become pm. Right wing loons immune to reality. |

"Incidentally, a certain poster who likes horses and hay has gone ominously quiet. Again! Looking forward to some new material defending these bozos!" . Aa things stand the Conservatives still have a majority in excess of seventy seats. It just goes to show how popular they are. Liz Trusss has just turbo charged the economy . Things can only get better. Tax structures simplified means additional tax revenues which helps everyone.

The sun always shines in Tory land. Remember if it alway the poor and middle class that will pay the price of these policies. That's why their core supporters on here don't care. |

T u R b o C h a r G e D" . What matters is performance over a period of at least five years. . Movement over a six day period is irrelevant in the longer term. The BOE or IMF are lso irrelevant when it comes to the reported performance of pension funds . What matters is the actual performance of the fund over a period of at least five years. Has a single fund announced that they will cut dividend payments due to a drop in income ? Short term falls may be present buying opportunities for anyone with spare cash who wishes to top up their fund. Interest rates going up is good news for savers and there are still loads of mortgage deals available. . Everyone has known for a long time that rates would increase. It was just a question of when. |
