Let's face it, it doesn't matter what party you support none of them are any good. Conservatives help the rich, whereas Labour just put the country into huge debt with false promises also. In an ideal world it would be nice if politicians could make the whole country happy about everything! However such is life where you take from something to make something else work. |

I can't remember exactly, but I've seen both US and UK figures that suggest that both Republicans and Conservatives are worse for debt in this generation, and yet this myth continues. |

No one could have predicted the spread of disease despite scientific research for more than a century and other countries managing it. Breaking international law is just fine. He works so, so hard that laws shouldn't apply to him.

But I have read a lot of very disparaging remarks particularly in the Politics forums about Boris Johnson and I'm not sure why we had to bring this down to somehow it being about privileged white men. This started out as a really good discussion but has gone as these things normally do down a rabbit hole.
Johnson bucked the general trend for many of us (but not all). The level of false equivalence has been unbelievable.
I mean imagine if Thatcher, May or Truss had several children by different men. Imagine if she was a serial philanderer whose latest squeeze was the result of an office affair while her husband was being treated for cancer! But good old Boris is just a lad!

I just don't see if Liz truss is deemed to do a bad job that somehow that will lead people into thinking less of women. May was deemed by many to do a bad job however it didn't stop members and MPs from voting in another woman as leader.
