I don't know. I think possibly once even middle income earners start to have to turn the thermostat down and eat value cornflakes unrest might increase but at the moment most people want someone else to do the striking so they can complain about them.

Nope, a lot of people in this country could not even afford to take strike action no matter how bad things got, one day without pay would push many over the edge.
